Really was NOT prepared to make another one of these posts today.

Yesterday we lost Dolly Parton, and now today we’ve lost Tim Curry.

Tim Curry gave us so many unforgettable characters, but for us — and millions of others — he will forever be Dr. Frank-N-Furter in The Rocky Horror Picture Show.

Rocky Horror was more than a movie. It gave generations of people who felt a little different, a little weird, a little outside the box a place where being exactly who you are wasn’t just accepted — it was celebrated.

And Tim Curry was right there in the middle of it, unapologetically fabulous.

So once again, we’ll do what Jax Entertainment does when we lose someone who gave us music and memories: we’ll SING.

Join us at Future Cues or Green Door and pay tribute with your favorite Tim Curry or Rocky Horror song.

And you KNOW Cleatus will get up there and sing “Sweet Transvestite.”

Rest easy, Tim Curry. ❤️

The world became a lot less sparkly today.

Dolly Parton’s music has been part of karaoke for as long as most of us can remember. From Jolene and 9 to 5 to Islands in the Stream and I Will Always Love You, her songs have been sung on our stages countless times — and they’ll continue to be.

This week, and anytime you join Jax Entertainment at Green Door on 2nd or Future Cues, we invite you to grab the mic and sing your favorite Dolly song in her honor.

There’s no better tribute to an artist than to keep singing the music they gave us.
