Good Morning New and Old Friends! I’m Sarah 🌷 I love connecting with you here!

Through all of the chapters of my life story, flowers have always been my love language and are at the center of how I experience beauty. As a floral designer and floral watercolor artist, I see each bloom as a way to celebrate love, family, and the beauty of life itself.

From my Minnesota roots to my Arizona desert home, and all the other places on Earth that I love, Mother Nature’s colors and seasons continue to inspire me. I believe flowers connect us — to memories, to each other, and to the moments that matter most.

I’m so grateful to share this journey with you and can’t wait to bring more color, beauty, and love into the world together. 📷

Before today, it’s been almost 3 weeks since I held flowers. I was off galavanting in Spain and now I’m back to my flower filled reality. One of my dear friends said, be prepared to be depressed after a big trip”, but honestly I’m happy to be back because I have a life that I love, filled with beauty. When you work with flowers, you form a bond with them. Sometimes, your relationship is rocky, you take them for granted and even want to break up with them. I just needed a little break. But somehow you just can’t quit each other and I’m so happy to be back with my loves.

Home stretch of Spring 2025 wedding season and I’m focusing self care. I’m doing things like regulating my nervous system with meditation (twice daily for almost 10 yrs) working out, eating well, hardly any alcohol and sleeping 8 hours most nights. Wedding work can be relentless mentally & physically at times and a lot of my colleagues are in big burnout mode at this point. Make sure your foundation is strong and you’re not slapping a bandaid on yourself with cheap coping mechanisms. Thanks for attending my TED talk. With lots of Love, Sarah

While chatting with my best friend of 35 years today, it dawned on me that she’s one of the few people in my life that is witnessing me come full circle as an artist. When we were kids I was the artist in the group, always drawing, creating, dreaming. Somewhere along the way, I gave up on it and decided that it wasn’t ever going to be a way to support myself. But a big piece of me was missing. I’ve changed my mind. The little dreamer Sarah of my youth would be so proud and happy that I did.
