Hello fellow violists! We have set a date for the upcoming Arizona Violacademy. Mark your calendars for January 12, 2019 from 9:00am-3:00pm.

This program offers opportunities for intensive viola playing and exceptional instruction. Participating students aged 11-19 will improve their individual technique, perform in guest master class and/or mock college audition sessions, have an opportunity to take a mini-private lesson, attend a viola recital and perform together in the finale festival viola ensemble piece.

There will be a masterclass featuring Dr. Linda Kline (of Boise State and Interlochen Academy). Faculty also includes Professor Nancy Buck (of Arizona State), Louis Privitera (of Tetra String Quartet), Allyson Wuenschel (of Arizona School for the Arts), and Cicely Brazier (of Metropolitan Youth Symphony and Stapley Junior High School).
