My Journey as a Wedding Officiant

I’ve always had a deep love for weddings — not just the celebration, but the meaning behind the vows, the stories that brought two people together, and the sacred moment when they say, "I do." While my primary profession is in accounting and tax advising, my heart has long been drawn to the beauty and depth of marriage ceremonies.

Back in 2008, I became ordained through a universal church. Though I was raised Catholic, I felt called to serve couples from all walks of life, honoring their beliefs, traditions, and personalities. I later added credentials through AMM (American Marriage Ministries) and completed a marriage coaching course to deepen my understanding and better support the couples I work with.

What inspired me most was seeing how many ceremonies felt generic or disconnected from the couple’s true story. I believed weddings could be more personal — custom‑made, heartfelt, even funny when the moment calls for it. So, I began crafting ceremonies that reflect each couple’s journey, weaving in humor, scripture, tradition, and love.

Whether it’s a traditional wedding, a bilingual ceremony, a vow renewal, or a spontaneous elopement, I bring warmth, intention, and care to every moment. I love reading the scriptures and exploring cultural traditions, all to help couples feel seen, celebrated, and supported.

Today, I continue to serve as a wedding officiant and marriage coach, creating ceremonies that feel authentic, joyful, and deeply meaningful. It’s an honor to stand with couples on one of the most important days of their lives — and to make that moment truly theirs.
