An optional wine pairing is also available to purchase with each ticket.

You don’t want to miss this pour! It’s Cellar Sunday, and tonight, we’re opening up a 2006 vintage bottle of Pio Cesare Barolo!

Pio Cesare was founded all the way back in 1881 in the town of Alba, Italy, (the Piedmont region). With parts of the estate dating back to Roman times, this historical winery is renowned for its artisanal approach with hand selected grapes from small batch harvests, and excellent craftsmanship of wines with minimal intervention and a focus on sustainability. Pio Cesare has established vineyards in the most celebrated regions in Piedmont, including Barolo and Barbaresco. These wines are praised in their ability to express the unique identity of each vineyard site.

The twenty-year old bottle of Barolo we’re opening tonight, is a classic Italian red wine, made from Nebbiolo grapes. There’s a balance of fruit and tannins, and has incredible aging potential. We’re expecting notes of tar, roses, raspberries, and licorice, it’s fresh and vibrant and we think it’s the perfect special pour for this Sunday afternoon.

Join us at Two Travelers tonight for Cellar Sunday, the doors open at 4:30 pm and we’re thrilled to share a taste of this iconic bottle with a few of you.

🐠 🍓 ✨ New Hamachi Crudo Drop ✨🍓🐠
Our chef’s house made strawberry ponzu, a punchy shiso + cilantro herb salad, cucumber & jalapeño nage, micro shiso + cilantro salad with a few fine slices jalapeños to top it off.

We’re loving this one with a crisp glass of Riesling. Doors open in just a few minutes. Come and get it. 🥂🐠🍓

Join us for Live Music this Friday! Travis Guilliams is a soulful vocalist whose journey from indie rock frontman to respected session artist has helped shape San Diego’s underground music scene. We’re beyond excited to have him bring his rich blend of folk, jazz, blues, and classic ’60s–’70s pop to us! 🎶✨

On New Year’s Eve, the reeded glass door will swing open. The tables will soon fill with old friends, and folks in town for the holiday. The aroma of garlic butter prawns will waft from the kitchen into the dining room and there’s wine bottles and bits of festive Christmas cheer from the floor to the ceiling everywhere you look. Champagne bottles will be uncorked, bubbles poured and glasses clinked, as toasts are called out for the new year. We’ll sink into leather armchairs and velvet banquettes and feast on oysters and crusty baguettes. It’s magical and cozy and wonderful, and it’s all waiting for you on the corner of Fifth & Mercedes.

Once a week, we pop into the cellar and pick a special bottle. It’s usually something small batch and harder to find, a bottle that’s delicious and fantastic. And this 2021 Clos du Val Yettalil checks all the boxes. 🍇🍷

This special, small-production Napa red from the Stags Leap District, is a perfect bottle for Cellar Sunday. Named after Henrietta “Yettalil” Goelet, the founder’s grandmother, the wine reflects her elegance and vision through a beautifully crafted blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, with Cabernet Franc, Merlot, Malbec, and Petit Verdot. The warm 2021 season gave the grapes extra ripeness, making a bold, well-structured wine.
We’re getting notes of of black cherry, berries, herbs, and a hint of mocha. It’s smooth and polished, a classic Stags Leap bottle. 🍷🍇

We’re busy getting the wine bar ready to open for lunch and this gorgeous bottle caught our eye! 🍷🎄

Winemakers in Paso Robles are calling 2023 one of the best vintages in years, and it shows in this Austin Hope Cabernet Sauvignon. A long, cool growing season and generous rainfall helped create a wine that’s rich and smooth without feeling heavy. It delivers bold blackberry and dark cherry flavors with touches of mocha, vanilla, and spice. Full-bodied and velvety with a long, polished finish, it’s delicious now and built to age, and it’s available by the bottle right here at Two Travelers!

Making Christmas plans?! 🎄🍷🥂

Two Travelers will be open regular hours on both Christmas Eve & New Year’s Eve, and closed both Christmas Day and New Year’s Day.

Join us for wine pours all over the world, fresh seafood like cold water oysters and hamachi crudo, and classics like our Steak Focaccia Sandwich. Our wine library is full of retail bottles ready to take home and open during the holidays and our somm’s are ready to help you find the perfect pours for your holiday festivities.

We are humbled to continue to serve this community this Christmas, and can’t wait to see you pop by!

Introducing our new wine club option! Our Dropping Classics club is for everyone who is practicing their blind tasting skills or studying for a wine certification. Each month, we’ll wrap up two bottles of wines from testable regions for you to blind taste! We’ll provide the blank tasting sheets as well as sealed tasting sheets with “our answers”. Join by the end of December to get in on January’s shipment!
