🚨COMMUNITY UPDATE🚨Important message from The Venue Taylor……..
Owning and running a small business is hard enough. As a Latina woman-owned and veteran owned business, we work extremely hard to create a welcoming space for our Taylor community and our clients.
Unfortunately, someone vandalized our place of business. We are aware, we have cameras on site and a police report has been filed.
We’re not going to share who it is or what their motive was, but we are taking it seriously! Harassment, bullying, and attempts to slander someone’s name or small business say everything about the person/persons that did it—and nothing about us! We are busy enough and it’s apparent they need more time on their hands and we recommend all that time and attention should be on themselves. However, good or bad we appreciate all the attention, publicity and free marketing.
This world is divided enough as it is. I truly hope this wasn’t rooted in racism or hate—but regardless of the motive, we’re choosing to lead by example, respect, and community. Although, want to be very clear: hate and racism have no place here—EVER! But as a Latina woman-owned/Veteran owned business, I won’t stay quiet about this: racism, bullying, and harassment & will NEVER be tolerated in our community or in our place of business. NOT ON MY WATCH!❌
👉To our supporters and clients: THANK YOU!.♥️ Especially to the City of Taylor , Chamber and everyone in our community who continues to show up for us and give us all the love and support.🙏🏼♥️ We are a small family owned and operated business and we will protect our our family & our small business and all the surrounding small businesses out there, we see you and we support you! ♥️🙏🏼
