Oyster friends, some sad but good news to share. Sang & I have decided that it’s time for business side of The Open Oyster to close its doors for now. We’ve decided to shift our efforts to hanging out more & eating oysters together. It’s been a blast getting to know y’all and sharing oysters & laughs. Look for us around town. We’ll be the two dudes in some short jorts.

Cupids Chiice is definitely a favorite of ours. Black Magic & Beau Soleil have made their way to a few events of ours. Medium to high bring with a smooth finish.

Slight change to today’s menus. We’ll still be serving the amazing smoked, in addition to Beau Soleil from New Brunswick & Black Magic from PEI.

Sang had his first smoked yesterday immediately followed by “That’s where it’s at!”

Beau Soleil has a medium brine with a smooth finish. Black Magic is newer to our assortment but will raise your eyebrows.

This is an event you should place on your calendar. 11/11 we’re going to collaborate with MIXTAPE for Smoked & of course fresh oysters.

Why I’m excited…before we first got started we shucked in Alex’s backyard and Ryan smoked a few oysters.

They were some of the best things I’ve ever placed in my mouth. Now we’re gonna be cranking them out during the movie Splash for an ocean themed night.
