Coconut Palm Inn is a magical place tucked in a quiet neighborhood on the bay side of Tavernier. The wildlife is abundant. The dolphin and manatees swim just off the dock. The sunsets are beautiful. Star gazing under the tiki hut at night with some wine and the resident 🐈‍⬛ is a lovely way to wrap up the day. And the s’mores bonfire after dark is a race to see who will eat all the treats the guest or raccoons! Our king size room was comfortable and we enjoyed our coffee each morning on our covered porch overlooking the bay. Bicycles, paddle boards and kayaks are free to see during your stay. It’s just a 2 1/2 hour drive from our home in West Palm Beach but feels like we traveled to a tropical island in the Caribbean. It’s the perfect escape from the daily routine and if you go through the week you get a discount! (Lisa K. April 2026)

We just had the BEST time staying at the Coconut Palm Inn for our quick, spontaneous weekend getaway! Our family enjoyed all of the amenities and the beautiful Thatch Palm Suite. “We came to Coconut Palm this April with 3 couples. All retired FDNY 911 1st responders & wives. We had the best time & plan to come back next year. This was the most relaxing laid back trip I’ve ever had. It was exactly what we all needed. Not being stressed or bothered, having the pool open continuously, treating us like we were family & restaurants & stores near by for shopping, we all loved it!
