OK Fam, This one isn’t about letting ya’ll know where we are, what’s on the special board, or any of that. This is a SHOUT OUT to Brandy Buckner! Some of you know that today was not the most “tech friendly” day that we’ve had. Our point of sale system changed overnight and we didn’t notice until seconds before we had a BUNCH of our fam waiting for us to open this morning.

Not gonna lie y’all, I FREAKED OUT. Our processes were toast, we were fresh off of vacay and to be honest, a little rusty. When I noticed it wasn’t just a WIFI glitch, I said, “Let’s cap the line, after that tell anyone that comes that we are closed for technical issues.”

Well the CEO (Cajun Executive Officer) wasn’t have’n any of that. She said - “OH NO, THESE PEOPLE CAME TO EAT SO WE’RE GONNA FEED THEM!” (All caps because that’s the way it was conveyed to me… 🙂 )

So we got to work! Our amazing staff did a quick pivot, turned to paper tickets and we got it done! One of the best days EVER! We got to meet so many new awesome fans that we would've missed out on if we just threw in the towel.

Also HUGE thanks to our “Cajun-Que Army” for understanding our startup delays and their patience receiving orders!!!!!

My point tonight is - Each day may not start off the way you “think” it’s supposed to. But it’s how you pivot and make the most of it. Who knows, maybe it’ll turn out better than you originally expected. I know that happened to us today! We SOOO appreciate all of ya’ll supporting us!! Have the best Sunday tomorrow!
