We are officially on our yearly summer hiatus! 🏝️☀️🌊

Every summer, we take a short pause.

Not because we’re stepping away from flowers, but because creating beautiful work requires space to grow.

Over the next few weeks, we’ll be slowing down, spending time with family, exploring new places, gathering inspiration, and allowing ourselves the time to recharge after a busy season of celebrations.

With it being so HOT in Florida, which isn't ideal for premium cut flowers, it's a fitting time for us to rest
& tighten our systems. We believe the best ideas come when there’s room to breathe and this annual break helps us return with fresh creativity, renewed energy, and an even deeper appreciation for the work we get to do.

Thank you for supporting a small business that values both artistry and longevity. We can’t wait to share what inspires us and what we’re dreaming up for the seasons ahead.

Each year, I try to set aside resources to learn from someone I look up to. Last year I traveled to NY for a residency at with Sarah of , one of the first florists I admired when I began flowering in 2016. I learned a lot about myself, met some lifelong friends and also came home totally inspired. This year I'm not traveling but am so excited to be learning from the super talented through her online course, Field Study. Karis' work brings me an immediate sense of calm and joy. It is so thoughtful and I could examine it for hours! This is my first attempt at a taped bouquet, a method that is new to me. Learning can be uncomfortable, but it's also invigorating! I can't wait to see how what I learn this month informs my design moving forward.

Note to self and anyone else who cares to listen: It seems weird and dismissive and meaningless to post about pretty things when the world can be so ugly, especially with the barrage of news and the heaviness of the events in Minnesota these last few weeks. Our heads are not in the sand and our hearts are with the families who are being affected by the violent actions of our government. This is not a time for further division. Now, maybe more than ever, it is a time for us to come together, to be helpers, to show love and compassion to our neighbors, to not contribute to the vitriol, but to continue creating beauty and joy and love in the face of horror. Seek to understand. Do not look away, but do not let your light die. Do something. Help someone, in whatever way you can.

We’re moms. That's not our ENTIRE personality, but it does tell you we're hardworking, intuitive, dedicated, inventive, make-it-work kind of people. We're the kind of girls who carry snips in our glove compartments (because you never know when inspiration will strike 🌿).

We’re obsessed with beauty in all its forms — flowers, friendships, art, music, food — but also the wild things: shadows, weeds growing through cracks, imperfect petals, the in-between moments.
