The first armfuls of the season 🤍🌸

Holding these flowers always brings me back to where this journey began.

Long before Rooted had a storefront, there was Moonlight Meadow Flower Farm—a small flower farm born from my deep love of flowers and a dream of growing beautiful blooms to share with others. What started as rows of flowers and a little roadside stand quickly became something so much bigger, thanks to the incredible support of this community.

As the farm grew, so did the dream. Eventually, I needed a place to put down more permanent roots, and Rooted was born in the heart of our town.

Now, each season feels a little bit like coming full circle. The flowers are blooming once again, the first peonies are beginning to unfurl their ruffled petals, and I get to share them with all of you.

Our Summer Flower CSA is now open! Choose from 4, 6, or 8 weeks of fresh, locally grown blooms with pickup at Rooted. Each bouquet is a celebration of the season and a reminder of how much beauty can grow from a tiny seed—and a supportive community.

Last summer we had the sweetest honor of bringing this beautiful outdoor wedding to life for the loveliest couple 🌻✨

Inspired by and honoring their Ukrainian heritage, we incorporated meaningful blooms — sunflowers taking center stage as a symbol of warmth, strength, joy, and home. Paired with soft, garden-inspired details and airy textures, the goal was to create something that felt effortless, welcoming, and full of heart… just like them.

Some weddings are beautiful because of the flowers, and some are beautiful because of the people behind them. This one was both 🤍

Still dreaming of these sunny little centerpieces and all the love that surrounded them. ☀️

Hi, I’m Rochelle Gracia — wife, mother of three, proud local, and owner/floral designer behind Rooted. I opened Rooted because I wanted to share my love of flowers and create a place where our community could have access to the freshest blooms and the sweetest gifts, right here at home.

Being a local business owner has always meant more to me than simply selling flowers. Over the years, I’ve tried to give back in every way I can. I’ve donated gift baskets and floral arrangements to our schools, firehouses, fundraisers, charities, students, women in need, and neighbors facing difficult times. I’ve donated countless hours and thousands of dollars in flowers and design work for proms and community organizations, and I’ve gifted over 500 bouquets to our local food pantry because I believe everyone deserves the small luxury and joy that fresh flowers can bring.

I employ local women and fill my shelves with beautiful products created by talented women in our own community. I say none of this for recognition—I say it because I want people to understand that every purchase here reaches so much farther than flowers.

I know you can buy flowers from big chain stores for less. I can’t compete with businesses that use flowers as a way to get customers through the door for larger purchases. What I can offer is something different: the freshest flowers, hand-selected with care, artfully designed, and created by someone who pours her whole heart into this business and this community.

Rooted is more than a flower shop to me. It’s my family’s livelihood, it’s a place built with love, and it’s my way of giving back to this mountain and the people in it. Small-town businesses survive because people choose them. So next time you’re deciding where to buy flowers, I hope you’ll remember that shopping local isn’t just supporting a business—it’s helping keep something special alive in your own community. 🤍

Mother’s Day at Rooted is always something special, but this year truly meant the world to me. Thank you from the bottom of my heart to everyone who chose to shop small, support local, and trust me with flowers for the mothers and loved ones in your lives.

Running a small business in a small town is no small thing — survival is never guaranteed — and every order, every kind word, every shared post, and every familiar face walking through the door genuinely makes a difference. I pour so much love, care, and intention into everything created at Rooted, and it means more than I can say to have customers who recognize and appreciate the quality, artistry, and heart behind it all.

To those longing to become mothers, those navigating loss, those nurturing in unconventional ways, and those simply showing up every day with love and care.
