Today marks a few things.

One year since my brother passed away, and his first heavenly birthday. It also happens to be my birthday, and I’m celebrating another year of this life here on earth.

There are a lot of emotions wrapped up in today.

One thing I keep coming back to is how short life really is.

As difficult as losing my brother has been, his passing also gave me the push to finally start Black Petal.

So, find what makes you happy and do it. Every day. Make your life what you want it to be.

Today, I’m holding a lot of grief, gratitude, and love, all at once. 🤍
