This guitar series features classical guitarists from around the world. All guitar concerts are located at the Dale Mabry Campus of HCC, Tampa, Florida.

The HCC DMSGA Guitar Series concert featuring classical guitarist José Luis Merlin will be held on Friday, March 28, 2025, at 7:30 pm in the Ybor Room at the Ybor City Campus, Room #124 in the Ybor Building, 2001 N. 14th Ave, Tampa, FL 33605. This is the building across Palm Ave from the location of the last two concerts in Ybor. Free parking passes available...just email us at [email protected] by Friday morning so we can email the parking pass back to you.

Be sure to come early to our concert to see our new exhibit, Anatomy of the Guitar. The exhibit is an inside look at the components that make up a classical guitar. It is an educational project commissioned by the HCC DMSGA Guitar Series with guitar parts especially created by Pepe Romero, luthier, and will be on display in the lobby from 6:30 to 7:30 pm on the evening of the concert, Friday, November 15th.

Just a reminder that due to hurricane damage to our Dale Mabry Campus auditorium, our Friday, November 15th classical guitar concert will be held at our Ybor Campus Mainstage Theater in the YPAB Building. The ticket table, including our guest list, will be on the second floor which is also the entrance to the auditorium. Attached please find a campus map. Parking passes are available to park for free...just email us for one.
Also, plan to come early to see our new “Anatomy of the Guitar” exhibit that will be on display in the lobby of the second floor from 6:30 – 7:30 pm before the concert.

The show must go on! We're just changing venues! Due to two major hurricanes hitting Tampa, our Dale Mabry Campus auditorium has been severely damaged. We are absolutely still having Marko’s concert, but we have to move the location to our Ybor Campus Mainstage Theater. Yay!
So mark your calendars for Friday, November 15, 2024 at 7:30 pm for Marko Topchii, classical guitarist, in concert on the Mainstage Theater at the Ybor Campus, Building YPAB, second floor.
Per guitar series tradition, after each one-hour concert, there will be a Meet & Greet session where concert attendees have an opportunity to ask questions and get the artist’s autograph (free color photos and frames provided).
This season we are also excited to feature our brand new educational exhibit, Anatomy of the Guitar. Commissioned by HCC’s guitar series and made by Pepe Romero, luthier, this exhibit features actual components that make up a classical guitar. The exhibit will be outside of the Ybor Mainstage Theatre beginning at 6:30 pm on the night of the concert.

We are sorry for any inconvenience and look forward to seeing you at our next concert featuring Marko Topchii, classical guitarist, on Friday, November 15, 2024.
