Twenty years ago I heard God speak to me in a dream for the first time, and He told me to create a “voice over” of His death and resurrection while playing this arrangement on the piano. I remember thinking to myself, “that would be nearly impossible to speak AND play this piece on the piano!” At that time my daughter was about 12 years old, and I told her about how I didn’t know how I was going to do what God asked of me. She asked me, “Did God say YOU had to write it and speak it?” Hmmm… Well, no He didn’t get into specifics in my dream. So my daughter listened to a recording of this song, and wrote the words to the voice over.

I did play this song at all of the Easter services that year - and my daughter did the voice over.

Now, twenty years later with the help of technology, I’ve been able to create the voice over myself. I stayed true to my daughter’s original words. As time goes, I may rewrite some the words. But for now I want to keep the words of a 12 year old girl who prayed, searched through the Word, and sought wisdom of the Lord - to find the voice over for this song.

Can you guess her name?

This past weekend my granddaughter and I went to the local rescue and rehabilitation farm. We adopted the sweetest, non-stop purring, and cuddly kitten!

Can you guess her name? Of course, our entire family loves Pokemon - including my granddaughter. Her favorite Pokemon is any of the Eevee evolutions. After 2 days we realized the kitten PURRS even when she is growling at the dogs to give her space.

We all love her including the dogs! Smokey & Bandit can’t wait until she lets them play with her. For now, they’re trying to be patient & not intimidate her with their giant paws and noses. Avalanche could care less - he boops noses with her, but that’s about all. Bandit is obsessed with knowing where she is at ALL times!
