What is the first thing you notice when you look at this photo?

The perspective differs depending on who is answering. But! That doesn’t take away from the beauty and importance of the balloon arch or the table décor at this 70th Birthday celebration for my client’s mom.

The same can be applied to everyday life. Our perspectives may differ, but that doesn’t take away from the beauty and importance of each individual person.

How perfect are these topiary centerpieces?!

I have such an obsession about the balance of colors that I was so happy to learn about the placement of the balloons in these 12-balloon clusters. The two colors are so perfectly balanced, there is symmetry from every angle.

In honor of all the students who returned to school this week, WELCOME (back to school)!

Around this time last school year, all three of my kids were doing virtual learning. Y’all, it was haaaaard, working from home full time (thank God for that opportunity) and making sure the kids were getting what they needed. By the end of the year, they were all doing in-person learning and now again for this new school year. I find comfort in knowing that they are always covered! 🙏🏾 Prayers for a safe and successful school year!

On Thursday, June 17, 2021, one minute I was working, the next I was being told that the following day is a holiday in observance of the official 11th national holiday signed into law, JUNETEENTH!

It was at that moment, I felt even more proud to be a Black American and proud of this country. There is so much more work to be done, but we have to recognize the wins, whether big or small.

I was so ecstatic when my client asked for this chevron pattern! Combined with this beautiful color palette and the golden explosion toppers, these columns were a thing of beauty inside my client’s beautiful home for her daughter’s first birthday party.

How cute are these photo and stage backdrops for The Academy at True Sanctuary of Praise, Inc’s preschool graduation?!

While prepping for this project, I learned some things, such as, PL300 adhesive by Loctite can be used on styrofoam. I don’t know about you, but I’ve had styrofoam boards deteriorate right before my eyes after using a spray adhesive.

AND! I now have a caulking gun and circular saw in my “tool bag”. Okay okay, I wasn’t trusted to use the saw, but it was used to get the job done!
