We are an event floral and decor company seeking crew members to help set up and take down events (many weddings). Events are located throughout the Tampa, Clearwater, and St. Petersburg areas. Ideal opportunity for someone looking for part time work. Excellent pay and great work environment. Schedules are flexible but are determined by the needs of our events. We offer a standard hourly rate depending on experience, gas reimbursement (as determined) and a creative, positive diverse workplace. It is important to know that this position can be physically demanding with long hours, late nights, as well as working on weekends, and overnight.

Qualifications:

Be able to follow directions
Helping to load and unload truck with florals/decoration items
Set up and take down of florals and decorations
Ability to safely drive and unload a 20' - 24’ box truck
Be able to be on your feet most of the day, 8+ hours
Be able to lift items up to 50 lbs.
Hold a sense of urgency for established timelines
Be respectful of company equipment and property
Be flexible with scheduling
Functional cell phone
Have own form of transportation. (Uber are not considered dependable forms of transportation)
Be able to work under tight timelines and sometimes during odd hours including nights and weekend.
Punctual and has strong work ethic
Professional with a positive attitude with willingness to learn is a must

Since 1997, Artistry Designs has established its reputation as the premier wedding planning, floral design, and decor company in the Tampa area. We are looking to hire a creative floral designer to join our team and help with the preparation and creation of floral arrangements for our valued clients.

We need someone who has experience in doing wedding designs!

Floral Designer Responsibilities:
Unpacking and organizing deliveries.
Creating large scale floral arrangements in a timely manner.
Following floral recipes.
Ability to set up events at venues in the Tampa, Clearwater, and St. Petersburg area.
Assisting with floral processing, prep work, and more.
Keeping the work station clean and organized.
Showing up on time for flower prep days and all events.

Floral Designer Requirements:
Proven floral design experience.
Sound knowledge of different flower types, arrangement styles, and flower conditioning.
Excellent organizational skills.
Effective communication skills.
Exceptional customer service skills.
Works well under pressure.
Artistic and creative ability.
Detail-oriented, energetic, self-motivated, and a problem-solver.

Job Type: Part-time

Schedule:
Flexible weekday schedule
Weekend availability

Experience:
Floral design: 3 years (Required)
Wedding design: 1 year (Required)
