I’m learning to get out of my own way.

We second guess ourselves.
We doubt ourselves.
We overthink the opportunity.

And sometimes, by the time we finally feel “ready”… the opportunity has passed.

Then we’re left asking ourselves, “Okay… what’s next?”

I think about women like Martha Stewart, Rachael Ray, Tabitha Brown, Carla Hall, Kardea Brown, Patti LaBelle and so many others who showed us that you don’t have to wait until everything is perfect to put yourself out there.

They created. They shared. They showed up. And they’ve shown us how powerful it is to let your personality be part of your brand.

And that reminds me:

Stop waiting. Stop doubting. Stop letting fear make the decision for you.

Sometimes you just have to GO.
The rest will figure itself out.

Sometimes doing it all means knowing when to pivot. 🤍

Being a mom. Working. Building a business. Chasing a dream. Figuring it out as I go.

I’ve learned that if the plan doesn’t work, change the plan not the dream.

Take the different route. Start over. Try again. Do what you have to do to make it work.

Because giving up was never the plan.

One day, I’m going to look back at this season and be grateful I kept going even when I had to pivot.
