It’s our 2nd annual Florida Flower Growers Retreat 🌸🌸
Hey, Florida flower grower! We hope you’ve been enjoying some downtime and getting some rejuvenation this summer. To kick off our fall growing season, step away from your farm for a day to gather with other Florida flower growers in Community.
🌸 Please note, this event is for those who have been growing professionally at least one year. If that isn’t you, we look forward to seeing you next year!

Dreaming and scheming for next season. ✨ Would you believe these are all Florida grown flowers? It’s true! The dahlias and lisianthus are from and the rest from my garden.
💚
Locally grown, eco-conscious flowers are my creative constraint and they provide a structure for one-of-kind designs and installations for your special events and editorials.
🌸
This installation was created using several clear plastic reusable bins, which I filled with reusable chicken wire. Not only is it better for the planet than single use plastic floral foam, it’s better for the flowers. Giving them the longest vase life to enjoy to their fullest.

What’s better than bespoke, organic bridal party bouquets? 💐 Bridal party bouquets being repurposed as centerpieces for the reception. 🔁 Repurposing is one of the ways that puts our value of sustainability into action. But we don’t stop there. After the wedding, we make sure to donate or compost your wedding florals so that nothing goes to waste. 💚

Pictured here is the lovely and her bridal party, followed by the bouquet-as-centerpiece.

A toast to the wedding of 🥂So many things to love about this bouquet… The sparkle of the dress with the jewels of opar sparkling back in the bouquet. The 100% locally grown, early spring juicy goodness. Above all, the glowing beauty of the bride. 🤗 Thanks for the creative freedom to bring the best of the season to your bridal bouquet design 🥂

First choice best choice. was one of my first brides and I always come back to this bouquet. There’s something about our first instincts and design choices that really shine through. I used primarily native flowers and foliage to create this fall bridal bouquet.

Last shots of the garden before slowing down for the summer. 😎 We really need another word for the seasons here in Florida. “Summer” just doesn’t hold the same meaning. It’s giving me siesta season, stay indoors in the AC season, it’s time to hibernate season. Am I getting close?
☀️
Looking forward to having the space to plan and set goals for my 5th season. So lucky to call the amazing globe-trotting photographer neighbor and friend.

Very grateful for this flower life. 🌸 This is the end of my 4th season, and there’s lots to celebrate: beautiful weddings, my first art shows, delightful relationships new and old, and literally thousands of beautiful blooms. I’m still processing it all, and will continue to during summer hibernations. But very grateful.
💛
I really wanted to create a ritual to mark the end of this (my 4th!) growing season. So when I received the timely gift of incredible dahlias from it felt like the magic fairy dust I needed. I called up my dear photographer friend to mark the occasion with a portrait sesh in the garden.

May you take the time to create rituals. There’s no right or wrong way to do it, just do it.

We can’t get along, but our trees might
Our limbs may reach across the gate and lean on each other
Intermingled leaves
Our watermelon vine throws itself through the fence
Our rose petals fall like confetti upon your sidewalk
A love offering

and Aeden, can you get married again so we can repeat this next year?
🌊
Such a joy to be a part of this celebration at I felt so at home in this venue full of native plants and water views. As I placed my aisle marker flower arrangements, I giggled to myself with delight. It looked like I harvested from the plants on site to make these designs- beach sunflower, coontie, sea grapes, and more.
💚
Thank you for trusting me with your floral vision of tropical and colorful botanicals. There were so many connections that brought us together that it really felt meant to be! So glad you appreciated the flower donation at the end of the event. Your wedding continued making people smile long after your big day. 😊
📸
Not gonna lie, I go a little harder when I know is photographing. It’s such a joy to have my florals captured through her lens. Doesn’t feel like work when you’re in such good company.
