I’ll never not post Brig + Cathy’s wedding day. And for SO many reasons.

Quite literally the definition of why I do what I do and the type of folks I care so deeply for.

They QUICKLY became dear friends; our consultation call (no lies) was almost (or over) 2 hours long.

These two love one another fiercely and we are always so deeply honored to have been welcomed into their corner to support them both.

The vendors they selected were TOP TIER. It would be an absolute DREAM to repeat the exact vendor team. The day was magical. The love was beautiful. The food was comforting and the drinks…well they were memorable! (I still think of the Pink Pony Club & the ONLY wedding I’ve ever had a cocktail at, I just couldn’t resist a few sips!)

So cheers to it being Friday, almost the end of wedding season, to the people who make life so sweet, so special and worth fighting for when the days feel tough.

Not every wedding planner is going to lead the same way. And that’s a good thing!

My couples don’t hire me because I’m the loudest person in the room. They hire me because I know how to keep a wedding day moving without making it feel stressful, tense, or chaotic.

✅ I’m calm under pressure.
✅ I communicate clearly.
✅ I know when to take charge and when to step back.
✅ I know how to work WITH vendors, not against them.

And I know how to create an environment where my couples feel supported instead of overwhelmed.

A wedding day doesn’t need more chaos disguised as leadership. It needs someone organized, emotionally intelligent, confident, adaptable, and trusted enough to handle the moving pieces without making the couple feel it.

I can’t thank enough for that compliment. 🎉

No one really prepares you for what happens after the wedding.

You go from constant emails, decisions, and excitement…

to suddenly it’s just done.

And instead of feeling 100% blissed out, you might be thinking:

“Did we overspend?”
“Did everything go how I wanted?”
“Why do I feel kinda… off?”

That doesn’t mean anything went wrong.

It means you just experienced a massive emotional high and now your body is catching up.

I see this with couples all the time, especially the ones who were super intentional about their day.

Here’s the truth:
✨ You’re allowed to feel both joy and a little sadness
✨ You’re allowed to decompress
✨ You’re allowed to not have it all perfectly processed yet

Give yourself a minute before you start judging the experience.

Design inspiration is all around us. It can be as simple as a photograph from your parents wedding day, the year they got married or something fun and trendy you see on Pinterest.

Designing a wedding doesn’t just begin with the pretty stuff (though that’s the fun part). It’s about how the spaces will be used, how the day will flow, the experience you, your guests and the vendors will have on the wedding day. It sets the foundation for all of the beautiful pieces that are sourced and brought in to personalize the space to you.

Your wedding planner is the one who is thinking about that, sometimes quietly and sometimes vocally when you have an idea that just doesn’t quite fit…and that foundation is why!

It doesn’t mean your idea is a hard no, it’s just that we need to evaluate from a wider lens. Which is 1000% what you have brought us onto the team to do!
