🇺🇸 Tama American Legion Sends Eight Young Men to Iowa Boys State! 🇺🇸
We’re proud to support the next generation of leaders! This week, eight outstanding young men from South Tama County High School are attending the American Legion Iowa Boys State at Camp Dodge.
Boys State is a six-day immersive civics experience that dives deep into the workings of government through the LEADS curriculum — Learn, Engage, Accept, Do, & Share. From mock elections to city planning, each day is packed with leadership development, teamwork, and the kind of hands-on learning that inspires real-world action.
