This weekend at the Bricks & Brass Wedding Expo, we had the opportunity to showcase what Raquel’s Events is all about—creating spaces that feel elegant, inviting, and thoughtfully designed.

From our signature draping installation and custom sweetheart table to the layered florals, candlelight, and refined details, every element was chosen to inspire couples to see what’s possible for their wedding day.

Hi, I’m Raquel, the planner and designer behind Raquel’s Events.

What first pulled me into event design was planning several celebrations in 2024 — a baby shower, graduation, grand opening, and two birthday parties. Somewhere along the way I realized how much I love the process.

The planning stage and the moment everything comes together during setup are the parts that excite me the most.

I love using draping, soft color palettes, and thoughtful details to transform a space and create beautiful celebrations.

I’m excited to start sharing more of my work and designs here.
