Join us for Loose Thread, a solo exhibition by Laura De Valencia-Kirk on view September 24 through October 31 at LeMoyne Arts.
Through fiber, drawing, language, and mixed media, Loose Thread explores how structure can create space for freedom, movement, chance, and change, extending into ideas of language, borders, belief systems, clothing, and memory.
Celebrate opening week with us:
✨ Opening Reception
Thursday, September 24 | 5–7:30 PM
Enjoy live classical guitar by Susana Frade, catering by Klassic Katering, and our in-house bar.
🥂 Muffins & Mimosas
Saturday, September 26 | 11 AM–12:30 PM
Featuring live music by the Community Youth Orchestra of Tallahassee, baked goods from Uptown Cafe and Catering, hot coffee from Argonaut Coffee and in-house mimosas.
Come experience an exhibition that invites you to look more closely at the structures that shape, hold, and connect us.
