Our social media posts are most often agritourism/wedding related. But we never forget that we are a farm, first and foremost. As the sign says: Wood, Wildlife, Water and Recreation. The meaning of the Family Forest Farm! Here’s John’s latest harvested and sawmilled pine trees, headed to the treatment plant. Many of these trees were downed by the Woodville tornadoes last year. Unstead of letting them lay on the ground and waste, John and his Brother, Donald spent all last summer gathering the trees and sawmilling the lumber. Our barn, that hosts beautiful weddings on some weekends, also protects the raw lumber until it can be treated, as well as farm tractors and vehicles during the week. Here we are just using what God and Mother Nature gave us, and loving sharing it with others!

We love hosting weddings at Lewiswood Farm! But we are still a working family tree farm, and educating our grands and nieces about farm experiences of the past and giving the experience of farm fun in the outdoors is important to us as well! So we had “Farm Camp” for them this Summer, and they had a blast (and maybe learned a thing or two as well)! Fun with cousins!
