What a Saturday! Thirteen wonderful ladies joined me in the backyard to mount their very own Staghorn Ferns, and I couldn't have asked for a better day. The sun was shining, the conversation was flowing, and there was plenty of laughter (and a little bit of moss on everyone's hands 😄).

There's just something special about gathering outside, getting your hands dirty, and creating something living together. I hope each of you walked away with a fern you're proud of and a few new friends, too. 💚

Now hang those beauties somewhere they'll get bright, indirect light, and give them a good soak when they start feeling light. They'll reward you for years to come!

The backyard garden I created with my grandchildren was a huge success! I absolutely love to show them how to grow vegetables, herbs and flowers with their own hands. It's never too early to let them dig in the dirt!

There's something so special about creating for a space designed around calm. I recently had the joy of designing faux orchid arrangements for Dewstate — a stunning new med spa that is truly one of the most tranquil spaces I've had the pleasure of walking into. They wanted the elegance of fresh orchids without the upkeep, and faux blooms were the perfect answer. Sometimes low-maintenance doesn't mean less beautiful — it just means more time to breathe. 🌿

It's time — the Fall Workshop Series is here! 🍂

I've got three ways for us to get our hands dirty and bring a little nature home this season: a Staghorn Fern Workshop, an Orchid Workshop, and a Woodland Container Workshop made with foraged mosses and lichen. Each one is a fun morning of learning, laughing, and leaving with something beautiful you made yourself.

A backyard full of orchids, a group of wonderful ladies, and a workshop I didn't want to end.

I wasn't sure exactly how it would go, but it turned into one of my favorite days yet — hands-on, unhurried, orchids everywhere, and laughter louder than the music. Everyone left with a beautiful arrangement and (I hope) a full heart.

Sometimes the best garden hacks are the ones sitting in your shed.

I wanted a little lift for one of my pots — something to give it height and let it peek out above everything else — so I stacked up some bricks I had on hand. Just like that! Then I set my bunny planter right on top, and now he's popping up out of the garden like he owns the place.

What's the simplest garden fix you've ever come up with?
