we've got a rare public lunch service tomorrow. feel free to stop on by and grab a box to go. full classics menu, plus loaded mac and smoked jackfruit.

we'll be on the westside of town and hope to see some of our regulars grab some lunch!

Happy Tuesday and happy July, gang! June was certainly not as planned for your favorite 'que in Tally, but it's a new month and we are ready to roll and get to serving our peeps.

On July 11th, we'll team up with our friends for food truck friday in Havana. There are some tables to eat, but plan on takeaway service.

July 13th will be first LUAU! Southern Hills goes Polynesian with whole hog Kalua Pork, Garlic Chicken and Teriyaki Tri-Tip with Hawaiin sides and your fave drinks from the bar! Don't worry...everything is getting that special Southern Hills love and authentic flair.

July 16th will be a special lunch service off of Maryland Circle, but all are welcome to come and grab a box of smoky goodness.

Finally, the long-awaited return to the great people for Thursday Trivia Night and Final Friday with music from .

We hope to see everyone soon and don't a special thanks to all of those who signed up for catering for the month of July!

Hey gang, we are sad to announce that we are having to cancel our services next weekend which included our Father's Day service. There is sadly a family emergency that will have have us out of state.

That being said we will be looking for a makeup date to offer the same specials we would have served next week. We know will put together a great lineup and our friends are already booked for Sunday.

Also, make sure to get out Thursday, June 12 to support Day and their fundraising efforts.

We appreciate your support and look forward to serving yall soon.

your favorite barbeque in tally couldn't let the sun set on national brisket day without a celebration of our best selling smoked meat!

brisket is a labor of love. a true testament that doing the most means something. Did you know our prized prime beef smokes for 14 hours or more before getting a rest almost as long?

when asked why we love smoking meats, the answer is easy...because it's hard and brisket is one of the most challenging. from splitting wood, tending embers in the wee hours, getting the best trim and rendering tallow...every step matters!

it you were lucky enough to get some brisket today...show some love to your pit master, but remember, brisket day is everyday when the meat wagon windows are open and we're slingin'.

we will be down this weekend, but have a great 4-day run planned for father's day weekend . See y'all then!

wishing everyone a safe and happy memorial day! as you gather with friends and family (hopefully for some smoky meats), make sure to remember the reason why we celebrate today. we are the child and grandchild of veterans and never forget that all gave some, but some truly gave all.

God bless those who mourn a loss today, and God bless America...we are so fortunate to be in the land of the free and home of the brave.

happy saturday gang! our celebration of mom's is tomorrow, and the weather may be frightful, but our specials are so delightful...so if you've no place to go, come to your Hub away from home!

ok, so it's the wrong season for this song, but you know us. we're super excited for this menu tomorrow, but know the weather isn't looking rad.

feel free to DM us for pickup orders, we'll have another post about this later. also know we still have our FULL MENU tomorrow to go with these awesome specials. hope to see a bunch of moms tomorrow; if you are a mom, from a mom, love a mom, a dog mom or just like to say MF-er a lot, get on out here!

it's another week of barbeque and good time . weather may not be our friend this week, but we've got you covered (literally!). you'll be able to order inside and we'll deliver from the meat wagon.

we've got our full menu this week, with burnt ends and cowboy candy coated ends, as well as some mother's day brunch items! we'll get that menu out as soon possible.

after a weekend down, we are back at it again folks. we're out amongst the vines with our friends . slingin' times are listed above and we'll have specials coming at y'all all weekend long.

thursday night we're in the house for music bingo and our quick bites menu.

friday brings the weekend return (and upgrade) of our locally famous iTALLYian tri tip sammie with backyard jardiniere. we'll also feature pork belly burnt ends and celebrate grads with a Garnet and Gold smoked chicken sammie and the Rattler brisket grilled cheese.

saturday is the run for the roses, with the 151st running of the kentucky derby! we'll pay homage to our neighbors to the north with our amped up hot browns! slices of smoked turkey, pork belly and tomatoes on thick potato toast, topped mornay sauce!

sunday is the fusion of barbeque, mexican and star wars you didn't even know you wanted! we'll have our regular menu with some fun Star Wars/Cinco de Mayo themed specials.

it's gonna be a great weekend of live music, great food and cold bevies...come hang at the hub.

Happy Saturday, friends! We know you're bummed we aren't slingin' this weekend, but we are back at it next week during Tally's annual with our dear friends . Catch us Friday and Saturday night on the back deck with the truest of southern cuisine.

No funny business next weekend...if it ain't southern, it ain't on Dolly (THE Meat Wagon). Slingin' by 430 on Friday and TBD on Saturday. We had to take Sunday down to see some of North Carolina's favorite son's , so come get your craft beer, craft bbq and culture!

Foremost, huge thank you to everyone who came out to see us and have some R&R tonight. It's been a while since we had such a huge crowd, and we tried something new, and it failed (somewhat epically), and we will learn and adapt from today.

Our goal for every service is to bring you the best que we can possibly make and add a twist by elevating the classic ideals, and that will never change. We won't compromise speed over quality or excellence in ex*****on over quantity. We want to feed every belly we can but refuse to waste unnecessarily.

Thank you so to those who patiently waited this evening and bless those who took the time to come back and tell us it was worth the time. We will be back at it tomorrow with a new plan of attack and an extended menu from today!

🏀 🍖 HUB BASKETBALL & BBQ PAIRING 🏀🍖

The NCAA Tournament field is set, and the First Round Regionals kick off Thursday.

So, to celebrate, we have partnered with our friends at Southern Hills Craft Barbeque for a REGIONAL Beer & BBQ Pairing!

Four Basketball Regionals 🏀
Four Regional BBQ Meats🍗
Four Regional Beers 🍻

Here's what we've come up with for Thursday:

SOUTH - Carolina BBQ Pulled Pork Sliders with Southern slaw, paired with a beer from the great state of Texas, Martin House Brewing Company Bock

WEST - Tri-tip Beef Slider with Chipotle-Beet BBQ Sauce, paired with a local favorite from DEEP Brewing Company Below Me West Coast Style DIPA

EAST - Slow-Smoked Bristrami and Deli-style Potato Salad and the dark horse pairing from Magnanimous Brewing Juice Lord New England Hazy IPA

MIDWEST - Kansas City-stlye Burnt Ends in a Smoky, Sweet, Rich, paint-the-side-of-a barn red barbeque sauce and a Sour ale from none other than Prairie Artisan Ales.

Southern Hills wil be slingin' these sampler plates by 5 pm for $15, and The Hub beer flights will ba $12.

And, of course, every TV will be tuned into NCAA first-round action.

So make plans now to join us Thursday at The Hub for some beer and BBQ!
