Forget the giant wedding timeline... these two had a concert to catch! 😂🎶

Elizabeth & Wyatt came down from Alaska to see one of their favorite artists, Seven Lions, perform with the Seattle Symphony.

And somewhere in the planning process they thought...

Wouldn’t it be cool if we got married while we’re there too? 💛

So after a two-year engagement, they did exactly that.

They got dressed up, gathered their favorite people, said “I do,” had dinner... and headed off to the concert.

Honestly, it feels pretty perfect for two people who are always up for the next adventure—whether that’s hunting, ice fishing, snowmobiling... or getting married in Seattle.

They went looking for Monkeyshines... and found a wedding chapel instead. 🥹💛

Kelly & Roe were out doing one of their favorite Tacoma traditions: hunting for when they happened to see a couple coming out of Elope 253, freshly married.

And they thought... "Well, that's a pretty cool idea!"

Fast forward to this day, and there they were, walking out of those very same doors as newlyweds. 🥰

These two are my kind of people. If there's daylight, they're probably out doing something... boating, fishing, beaching, working on projects at home, or searching for a hidden Monkeyshines treasure.

And now they have one more Tacoma adventure to add to their story.

P.S. Their friends went "rogue" and made them their very own Monkeyshine for their wedding... LOVE!

After three years together, Stephanie & Alfonso finally got to make it official and looked SO happy doing it!!!

This is why we love what we do. 🥹💛

We get to watch people step into our little chapel as a couple and walk out as newlyweds, surrounded by the people who matter most to them.

Lisa & Andrew met teaching English in South Korea in 2013.

After moving back to Washington and getting engaged in 2019, they decided to plan a wedding in Iceland

Well... 2020 had other plans. 😅

Instead, they bought a house, had a baby, and built a life together.

Now, 12.5 years after they first met, they finally got to say I do with their closest family and friends by their side.

And judging by these photos? They had A LOT of fun doing it. 😂💛

Jes & Neal met while working on a small cruise ship. Eight years later, they’re still each other’s favorite person to have along for the ride. 🚢💛

Danielle & Adam first fell in love 20 years ago, before life took them in different directions.

Different states. Different chapters. Marriages, kids, growing up, and becoming the people they were meant to be.

Then, a few years ago, they found their way back to each other.

And this time, they knew. 💛

Some love stories are about the beginning. Some are about second chances. And some are about finding your way back to the person who always felt a little bit like home.

We feel pretty lucky that our little chapel gets to be part of stories like these. 🥹💛

Twenty-five years later... and they still do. 🧡

Patricia & Angel were high school sweethearts, and this year they celebrated 25 years of marriage by choosing each other all over again.

Honestly, what we love about vow renewals is that they aren't about recreating your wedding day. They're about celebrating the life you've built together and choosing each other again for whatever comes next.

Or they put it:
"I choose this marriage again." 🥹

After 12 years together, love looks less like one grand moment and more like a thousand tiny ones. 💛

For Brittany & Ian, it’s coffee made before work, checking in just to ask, “Are you okay?” and Ian teaching the recipe, only for Brittany to perfect it. 😂

It’s finding lost keys, delivering forgotten hockey gear, turning the cats’ names into silly little songs and settling in for weekend video game marathons.

These were the details in their ceremony that got me. The funny, tender and wildly specific pieces of a life they’ve already built together.

Ian promised to keep choosing Brittany first. Brittany promised to be on Ian’s team through every season. 🥹

Because in marriage, the little things really are the big things.

I always say that being the officiant gives me the best seat in the house, and this photo is proof. 💛

Deena & Jessica laughed, cried, whispered to each other and became so completely absorbed in the moment that it felt like the rest of us had disappeared.

Meanwhile, there I am in the background, soaking up every second. 😂

As a self-proclaimed love geek, this is my version of a love high. Please inject this feeling directly into my veins! 🥹💛

Deena & Jessica told us they loved whimsy, and their wedding was full of it. They wore matching personalized shoes, and Deena created her bouquet using crocheted flowers, brooches from her grandma’s jewelry box and two tiny lockets holding photos of their beloved dogs who had passed.

Every detail told a piece of their story. But my favorite part was watching them forget about every detail and simply be there with each other. ✨
