37 goals. 24 hit. Walked into my annual business meeting underprepared. Self-doubt showed up right in the middle of wins. And somehow still managed to put myself last.

Mortgage Marketing for Rainmakers - Nashville ✨

Less than 30-hrs on-site, but months of planning, coordination, and behind-the-scenes work to bring it all together.

This one means a lot to me because I had the opportunity to take it from start to finish: Planning, coordinating, problem-solving, and making sure every detail came together the way it needed to.

I’m really proud of how it all turned out, but even more grateful for the trust that was placed in me to make it happen.

There’s always pressure when people count on you, but moments like this remind me why I love what I do.

And Nashville made it even better! Such a fun city, great energy, and the kind of place that makes long event days feel a little lighter.

Very thankful for the opportunity, the experience, and the chance to keep growing.

There were moments I had to start over quietly. Rebuilding my mindset, my priorities, my confidence, and sometimes my entire direction.

People usually only see the final version, not the messy middle.

But growth looks like that.

“When in doubt, get better.”

Lately, I’ve been doubting myself more than I’d like to admit. I catch myself focusing on the things that didn’t go as planned, the places I’ve fallen short, the endless list of “if onlys”. If only I had more time, more knowledge, more experience… maybe then I’d finally feel enough.

The truth is, behind the smile is an exhausted human. Behind the laughter is someone who often breaks down in her car. And beneath it all is a heart that simply wants to feel worthy.

I’m not there yet. I’m still doubting, still hurting, still healing. But I am working… Working on getting better, dreaming bigger, and becoming stronger than I was yesterday.

Because I’ve learned that when doubt creeps in, the only way forward is growth. When in doubt, take action. When in doubt, keep moving.

This isn’t the end - it’s just the beginning. And if you’ve been feeling the same, I hope you give yourself permission to leap, to heal, and to keep getting better too.🖤

I hire well, and I know how to love my people.🖤

I hire incredibly reliable, result-driven thinkers, problem-solvers and well-rounded human beings.

That’s one of my superpowers.✨

So when I interview them, here’s what I tell them:

Culture: I hire for attitude, and I train for skills, always.
I don’t care how talented you are; if you can’t work well with others, I don’t want you.

Accountability: I’m not here to coach you on your energy and efforts. Those are on YOU, and they are non-negotiables.

- Common Sense: Either you have it, or you don’t.
I can’t teach you that. I’m the type that will tell you to Google it.

- Quality: I don’t do sloppy or half-ass work.
I breathe and live in detail. If you can’t give me your best work, I don’t want it.

- Priority: Your health and family ALWAYS come first.
My business won’t fall apart if you need to take care of yourself or your life. If it does, that’s on me!

PS: I will drop everything for my kids. I don’t care if you fire me.
- Communications: I can’t fix what I don’t know.
If you can’t be honest with me, be honest with my head of HR.

- 2-way street: This is a partnership. You have to like me as much as I want you. It’s the only way it’s going to work.

Sooo… what’s next?!😄

Events. Then more events. And just when you think I’m done—boom—more events.🔥🔥🔥

I’ve got a wedding coming up in two weeks (hello, lovebirds!) 💕and a fabulous 75th birthday celebration that’s basically a masterclass in living your best life.🎉

On the corporate side? We’re cookin’. Two ATL events are bubbling up, and I’m gearing up for site visits for our 2026 venue—yep, hopping over to Austin, Atlanta, and Orlando like it’s my full-time cardio.✈️🏃‍♀️‍➡️

Oh, and let’s not forget the BIG one—the flagship conference. Planning is in full swing, and I’m leading our small-but-mighty events dream team while juggling flaming batons (okay, not really—but close).😂

Where have I been?! Buckle up, here’s the tea 🍵:

Back in late August, I got a call—a past client sent a referral my way. A massive cybersecurity marketing conference in Philly. In December. That same year. Cue internal panic. 😳🫥🫣 Cybersecurity? Yeah… let’s just say my closest connection to it was forgetting my own passwords.🤷🏻‍♀️

But did I say no? Pshhh. I packed my bags and did my thaaaannnggg!
✈️✈️✈️

The result? Fire. Absolute fire.🔥 The conference crushed it—attendance blew up nearly 40% from the previous year. The energy? Electric.⚡The goal? Simple: leave such a mark they’d hire me again for next year. Just another contract, no biggie.🎯

Well, plot twist.😳

I apparently rocked that event so hard they didn’t just want me back—they offered me a full-time gig to head their events. Like, all of them. Across the country. As in “Hi, I plan cybersecurity events now” level commitment.🤓😎

Was I shook? Yes.🫢
Was I nervous? Oh, 1000%.😬
Did I say yes anyway? You bet.🫡

So if you’ve been wondering where Events by Aubérie disappeared to—it hasn’t! Your girl just leveled up. 📈 I officially started in January and it’s been go go go ever since. We’ve pulled off 7 events already this year: NYC, Boston, ATL, San Francisco (more than once, mind you)…

And let me tell you—I’ve been B-U-S-Y.

But here’s the thing: Events by Aubérie was never just a phase or side hustle. It’s part of me. I just needed a sec to settle into this wild new chapter, catch my breath, and keep evolving.

I’m still in the game. Just dancing in a bigger arena now. Learning fast. Failing forward. And loving the ride. Because let’s be real—this is only the beginning.✨✨✨
