Bees, bunnies, monarchs, birds, peregrine falcons, people too. Glad to have an ability to Welcome all. Oh and there was one time we had a baby raccoon sleeping on the roof during an SU student party. And don't ask about the squirrels that stole chocolates and buried them in the garden...

Save the bees!! We plant flowers toward a betterment of Environment, including for bees and Monarchs. monarchwatch.org. We will be planting milkweed again this year for the monarchs. Glad to see 2 bumblebees near our already-sprouting green onions with flowers sprouted.

Hens 'n Chicks. Courtyard and rooftop are more full today with pretty plants and tilling was done to begin to plant our vegetables for the restaurant. Thank you to Morgan, Matt and Chef Kalia!! Couldn't wait any longer. Getting an early jump with planting flowers in the courtyard planters. We can bring in hanging vertical bags and baskets at night, and cover the pretty planters to keep everyone safe. We'll keep moving forward with Mother Nature and start the vegetable rooftop garden with Chef Kalia in the next couple weeks.
