It’s so wonderful how this family got together to celebrate this little man turning one. The house was so full of love and warmth.

I’m so grateful they trusted me to capture this special event. I know they are going to treasure these images forever and nothing makes me happier.

Anyone struggle to get in the Christmas spirit today? I LOVE Christmas but just wasn’t feelin it this year. Something just felt off. I hope Alton had a good day in spite of my vibes.

I just feel so guilty but I didn’t have it in me to make it as magical a day as I normally do. Hopefully I wake up on the other side of the bed tomorrow.

Anyway, I hope all of you had a magical day filled with love and warmth. And if you weren’t feeling it just know you aren’t alone.

So, I got to document a child’s first birthday party last Saturday! I literally live for this. My mission, my purpose in life, is to create beautiful images for families.

I want parents to see themselves being loved. See themselves through their kids eyes. To turn what would have become just a faint memory into a tangible keepsake to be cherished for generations.

I especially love to capture the moments that would have gone unnoticed otherwise. (Like the last one in this set 😊) All these little moments make up the story of your life. And it’s a story I’m slightly obsessed with telling.

My favorite part about shooting with small children is the unpredictability.

I always have my camera ready, even when nobody is posing. The in between moments are when their personalities really shine.

When you shoot with me please don’t worry about your child being on their “best behavior” or forcing them to smile. I am going to make a great image for you.

These guys were not having it this day, like at all, but I’m in love with what we got and so is their mom. 😊
