When Lauren contacted me and told me she was moving from Australia, I immediately thought of trying to source some florals grown there and got this beautiful Protea (2nd largest producer and, largest collection of protea species (over 300)) and Australian pine!

How is it the end of August?!? I can see leaves changing already and the cider mill is open; I’m sooo not ready to say goodbye to summer yet… but I love fall!
I’m so glad I got to host last weeks styled shoot at 1000 Islands Hart House!!
It was a dream to plan and have my vision come to life!
I had the idea for the floral frames as a ceremony backdrop and Alchemy Blooms Floral Design was on point with the florals!
The frame hunt took me all over Clayton, Alex Bay, and Watertown - one I found in my moms collection of antiques and the other at the Paddock Arcade Antique shop which brought back memories of antique shopping with my mom when I was younger, I HATED it then, but for some reason now the smell of the old books, decor and treasures brought me so much joy! 🤍
History makes us who we are, the good + bad, we grow and learn from our past. I’m thankful for my journey - and I look forward to learning more along the way!

Got to make the lovely Laura what was possibly my favorite bridal bouquet I’ve ever made last weekend. the trust Laura put in me to take a color palette and run with it means the world to me (and was a ton of fun).
