🎉 Let's give a warm and hearty welcome to Jack Acker, our new Assistant Club Manager at the Century Club of Syracuse! 🎉

We're thrilled to have Jack join our team and bring his expertise and enthusiasm to our wonderful community. His dedication and passion for making our club a fantastic place for everyone will undoubtedly make a positive impact.

From Jack...I am the former head sommelier from the Mohonk Mountain House resort, overlooking the Catskill Mountains in New York’s scenic Hudson Valley. At Mohonk, my duties included supervising each of our five beverage outlets, curating wine and cocktail lists, suggesting food and wine pairings and directly facilitating the Chef’s Table experience.

I hold a level 1 certification from the prestigious Court of Master Sommeliers and I enjoy jumping behind the bar during busy services. I have just moved back to the Central New York region, where I am from. I grew up in Pompey, NY and graduated from Fabius Pompey School District. My college years took me to Manhattan and later New Paltz, NY, obtaining a bachelor’s degree in Classical Music studies. Now I am back in my hometown and I’m excited to join the management team at the Century Club of Syracuse, where I hope to continue providing the highest quality service in all aspects of Food and Beverage!

Exciting news tomorrow, we'll re-launch the Major Burnet Room as a fine dining location every Thursday, Friday, and Saturday evening from 5:30pm to 8pm. The unique menu creations are available at these times in this location only.

The menu will feature dishes such as...

• 48 Day Dry Aged Bone-In Rib-Eye
• Pan Seared Hudson Valley Duck Breast - which will feature our popular Cannelloni of Duck confit!
