Weather is getting nicer I hope you all have made it out to the course, even with two holes blocked the road work. I wanted to solicit some feedback from folks who follow the Club.

1. Currently as a Club page only the club can make new posts, is there an appetite or desire for a Club group so anyone can post and discuss?
2. Are you interested in organized play? I would love to help facilitate that be it completely casual or on the more competitive side, but need to know if there is appetite for it.

Quick reminder for Subday Flex League today in Udisc. Your best 4 scores are how you’ll be scored. 10 Sunday’s left counting today.

1 1/2” of rain this morning but course is in great shape for a quick round for the Sunday Flex League that starts today on Udisc!

As part of the introduction of standings for league I’ve also published a new reoccurring event for the duration of the scoring period. Sunday Flex League!

This option will allow you to go play anytime you are available on Sunday, check in and play an official round. Scores from everyone that played that Sunday will be scored against each other and then awarded league points based on how you finished.

Sunday Flex League will happen 11 times during the scoring period, which as a reminder takes your 4 best event scores into consideration for the final league standings.

Happy Thursday All! Some exciting news to share. I’ve enabled standings for the Udisc league starting this Sunday 7/16 through 9/24. It will take your 4 best event scores during this period to determine your finishing position.

What does this mean? There will be a running score board for participation in scheduled league events with a winner at the end!

What’s the prize for winning? More on that soon, keep your eyes open for a later post on that.

How do participate? Download Udisc on your phone and create a free account. From there under the events tab you should be able to find Syracuse Disc Golf Club events to join. Please reach out if you need help.

More information soon on prizes and new events to participate in.

Suns out and a quick check just now the park seems to be in good shape. Barring additional rain we look to be good to go for this afternoon at 6:30. Can’t wait to throw some discs with you all!

Apologizes for any confusion. I’ve noticed last minute the Facebook event for today says 6:30 AM and the UDisc event 6:30 PM. 6:30 PM is the intended time. Again I apologize for any confusion. I’ll make sure to triple check my AM/PM for the next event.

If your not familiar with Udisc it’s a great way to track your scores as well as find new course. Sign up and entering the league via Udisc will help make managing and tracking play easier.

That said it’s not a requirement and all are welcome.

In more good news I was approved as a course ambassador on Udisc allowing me to get the course added and mapped on the Udisc app. Making it easy to start a score card in the app, it also enables easy league play management through Udisc. The course can be found at the link below
