Been a busy few weeks around the florist....here are some pieces done for a special friend (extended family of mine-Wyatt) for her funeral. 90 years old... A long life lived

I (Wyatt) wanted to do something extra special for her so in addition to the pallbearer boutineers I made some as keep sakes for her 4 grandsons. They are pictured. Their grandmother loved the beach and collecting China. So I got a tea set and 2 grand sons got saucers and sea shells and 2 grand sons got tea cups...her only grand daughter is getting married in October on her grandparents anniversary and I wanted her to have a memory of her grandmother that if she wanted to could use it as a corsage on her wedding rehersal....I do have to find the pic of that. Time got away from me. Even though this was a family member we take all details of our customers likes and loves into consideration as we do their funeral work trying to make every details special.
Sorry if some pics are repeats.

Even made sure that there was something special on her and her husband's tombstone and her daughter's when they got to the cemetery.

Been a busy few weeks at the shop. Here are a few pieces done.. casket spray and side piece for a foot ball fan... GSU and UGA....GSU football was added after the pic and he loved to hike. Mama and I came up with some custom one of a kind designs to show his personality....very nature inspired.. also some random wreaths...still avaliable at the shop for your home or even make great keepsakes for a funeral family can take home..... cemetery over the tombstone silk.... one of our beautiful recent church flowers and a fresh wreath with a cross and a bottom focal point to show it off.

So thankful for the sacrifices you have made for me over the years, the example you have set for me by the way you live life, your giving spirit, and the love for people your spirit radiates.....
The dedication you have to your craft....still growing strong at 80 yrs. I hope to celebrate many many more with you.

It's Wyatt.... While mama was busy creating beautiful pieces for funerals this week...
I once again had the pleasure and honor to "Morganize" a dear friend's table at the CURE banquet in Effingham County. This is my 6th or 7th year collaborating with her and I enjoy it so. Her theme was "Gift for a Cure" using her late mother's Christmas China. It was an absolute pleasure and can't wait to see what the theme will be next year and "Morganize" it.
So proud of how God's inspiration allowed it to turn out. Thought you all might enjoy the pics.

This week was a bust week at Mary Joyce's. We had several funerals. Two were especially close to our hearts....one was my (Wyatt) cousin on my dad's side and one cousin on my mom's side. Both were wonderful people and their presence will be missed.
