Took advantage of having a full weekend off for the first time in weeks!

Traveled to Columbus, Georgia to visit the coffee shop that was the inspiration for “Theo of Golden” by Allen Levi; such a great book and a wonderful day.

Shopped, had lunch at The Loft and the best chocolate glazed donut from The Veri Best (and cutest) shop.

Off days are good but I’m ready for another big event- message me to book!

Fun fact!

In my spare time, I lose myself in books. I used to lock myself in a tiny hall closet as a child, buried in my New Kids on the Block sleeping bag, lights out, flashlight in hand reading each book from The Babysitter’s Club. 🥰 Give me a rainy day and a cozy space with a hard back and I’m happy.

Some of my most favorites:

❤️ Pride and Prejudice by Jane Austen
❤️ To Kill a Mockingbird by Harper Lee
❤️ The Nightingale by Kristin Hannah
❤️ Crime and Punishment by Fyodor Dostoevsky
❤️ Anything Nicholas Sparks (I have read all 24 novels; I’m a sucker for a love story!)

I actually started a Book Club in my hometown; we meet monthly to discuss the book we chose for the month. We’ve been meeting for almost two years and it’s one of my favorite nights of the month!

We live in a culture that often measures success by what others see, think, and applaud. We can become so focused on proving ourselves that we forget our real purpose.

Not every act of obedience will be noticed. Not every sacrifice will be applauded. Not every season of growth will be visible to the world. But God sees what happens in the quiet places. He sees the integrity, the perseverance, the kindness, and the faithfulness when no one else is watching.

The goal isn't to build a life that looks impressive from the outside. The goal is to build a life that is pleasing to the Lord.

So keep doing the right thing. ❤️
Keep serving. ❤️
Keep loving people well. ❤️
Keep walking in obedience. ❤️

You don't have to convince everyone you're doing well—just be faithful with what God has entrusted to you.

His approval is worth more than the applause of the crowd. 👏🏻
