Sycamore Film Festival October 11th 2013. All proceeds will go to Student Scholarships for graduating students pursuing education in the arts!

The Sycamore Film Festival will be three days of the highest quality independent film in this beautiful, historic town nestled in Dekalb County just an hour and a half from Chicago, IL. Film lovers from all over the Midwest can gather at the historic Sycamore Theater on State Street in the quaint downtown district to watch over 30 films in three days. Filmmakers of the documentaries, features and

shorts will come from around the world to engage with the audience after each screening and at the festival's Opening Night Bash and Award Celebration parties with local offerings of delicious food, wine, beer and spirits from Sycamore restaurants. Special guests will include Tony Award winning writers and Academy Award winning filmmakers as well as current national film festival winners. The Sycamore Film Festival is a non-profit 501(c)(3) "Arts for the Art's" event, whose proceeds will benefit local educational and community Arts programs. Festival membership passes will be available and individual tickets will go on sale in August of 2011. Members of the SFF will have access to our ticket pre-sale, the members-only line for first entry into the theatres, ticket discounts and more.
