Our spring bouquet subscriptions are nearly ready to begin, and the tulips are blooming just in time. With Mother’s Day only three weekends away, we’re delighted to share that our opening weekend will be filled with vibrant, fresh tulips—the perfect way to celebrate the season and the ones you love.

Weekend Prep is in Full Swing!We kicked off planting yesterday with 700 ranunculus in the ground and are diving into a big day today—3,000 lisianthus, 150 veronica, and 100 didiscus are all going in this week! This greenhouse has been with us since the very beginning of our flower business. It was generously passed along to us when one of my bosses decided to upgrade to a high tunnel, fulfilling one of my lifelong dreams of owning a greenhouse.

In its early days, everything was secured tightly, and it looked picture-perfect. However, I quickly learned that Mother Nature had other plans. Over the past six growing seasons, I’ve lost count of how many times I’ve had to tighten screws, realign supports, and chase down wayward windows—especially in our high-wind area surrounded by open farm fields.

This winter has been particularly challenging, from the stress of trying to get the field put to bed to caring for my husband during his illness, all while watching the greenhouse endure relentless storms that left it barely standing.

I am beyond grateful to my friend Eric and my brother-in-law Cary for stepping in this past week to help bring it back to life. I truly couldn’t have done it without you both! Excited and ready to put this space back to work!

The first photo captures a glimpse of the 4,000 tulips I planted last fall—though, let’s be honest, most of them went into the ground in December! I’m absolutely thrilled to see them grow and can hardly wait to share them. Even before blooming, they already look spectacular.

The second photo highlights my first attempt at growing delphiniums, and they are simply stunning. Their striking blue color—a true rarity in the floral world—is highly sought after by designers, florists, and flower lovers alike. They’re so breathtaking on their own that they hardly need any other flowers to complement them in a vase.

Spring bouquet subscriptions begin in just one month! If these blooms arrive ahead of schedule, I may be able to start even sooner. Stay tuned!
