As the summer and wedding season is kicking off, I figured I’d share a few tips, tricks and advice if you happen to find yourself on one of our buses or someone else’s in the coming months.
1.) **Call the bars or establishments a half hour before you arrive.**. THIS IS BIG!!!
-Larger groups should give them a courtesy call a few days ahead of time too, especially if you plan on eating there. This will make your experience a much better one and they will be thankful for the heads up!
2.) Have a buddy system/someone in charge to make sure everyone makes it back onto the bus.
-To help keep track of your group, so if someone goes home early, you’re not looking for them for 15-20 minutes.
3.) Consider the amount and/or size of coolers.
-They take up more space than a person realizes.
4.) Have a playlist made up ahead of time.
- Nothing kills the vibe more than skipping 5-6 songs in the middle of them to find the one you want.
5.) Have a theme. (80’s, Hawaiian, Country)
- You don’t have to, but it will make your night more memorable and easier to find your people in the bar too.
6.) Plan extra time between stops.
- Most buses are a little slower getting from stop to stop. Plus, if you’re having fun you could stay longer at a bar or possibly stop at one you did not originally plan to.
7.) Please respect the buses, drivers, bartenders and the establishments.
- We all want you to have a great time! A little respect goes a long ways! Serving 15-30 people showing up at one time can be very overwhelming.
8.) Let us and the bars know how we did!
Being in Central Minnesota with many small bars and restaurants around, sometimes the greatest complement is a great review or referral!
