To my Halloween loving friends and neighbors!
I wanted to let you all know that I will be stepping back from hosting this event this year. As many of you know, I'm currently in nursing school, and I need to focus my time and energy on my studies.
While I won't be organizing the activities at Hammond Park, the **Nightmare 5K** and the **Superior Spooktacular Parade** will still be taking place. The park portion of the event that included music, games, activities, and vendors will not be happening this year. I do not know the dates, so you'll have to keep an eye out for flyers and posts.
Thank you all for your support over the years and for helping make this event such a fun community tradition. I appreciate everyone's understanding as I take this step back to pursue my nursing degree. I hope you'll continue to support the parade, 5K, and other Halloween festivities in our community! I hope to start back up NEXT (2027) year after I'm done with school. Until then stay spooky, and I'll see you around! 👻🖤
