Meet Michael Moran, Venue and Facilities Director of Illuminate, a space where every event has a purpose.

As part of the JAFCO family, Illuminate donates 100% of proceeds to support all of JAFCO’s life-changing programs, including the Children’s Ability Center.

With Michael’s guidance, Illuminate has become a place of both celebration and community impact. Participants of our Ability @ Work program lend a hand at events, greeting guests, helping with setup, and learning valuable skills that build confidence and pride.

This National Disability Independence Day, we’re proud to highlight Ability@Work. This is our Children's Ability Center vocational training program empowering young adults with developmental disabilities to gain confidence, job skills, and independence.

From crafting eco-friendly flower arrangements through our Wild Flower Boutique to helping out with events at Illuminate, participants are learning to navigate workplace environments while giving back to their community.

Every experience builds essential life skills to prepare them for meaningful employment and a brighter future.
