I announced some time back that I was retiring from DJ work. This does NOT mean that The Sound Connection has gone away. I'm happy to report that Tyler Tharp has taken over and has already been working some gigs on his own. We'll see if he has it in him to do this for 20+ years like the old man did!

I have come to the decision that it is time for me to retire The Sound Connection. I've been doing this for over 20 years and I've loved being a part of so many people's lives on their proms, weddings, and the many other special events.

Slow summer after a move to Helena, but the first of two weddings is tonight. Back north outside of Sunburst for Justin Nelson and Jaylene McAlpine. Beautiful day for an outdoor wedding at the Taft farm followed by a reception at the air conditioned Coyote Club in Shelby.

The Sound Connection starts summer wedding season in Dutton where Keely Michel will marry Brandon McDonald on June 27th! I've had this one on the books for over two years and had to turn down multiple gigs. It pays to reserve your DJ early!!

The Sound Connection gets busy for the summer starting with the Ribbon Walk in Sidney on Friday, June 19th. I'm proud to be back working with this dedicated group of people in Sidney. The "Ribbon Walk” is a local fundraising event in which 100% of the proceeds benefit local cancer care services through the Foundation for Community Care.
