When did your business start? 2017
Where is your business located or based from? 1112 N Bristol Street, Sun Prairie
Tell us your story? Cassoulet was started 9 years ago in a small shared kitchen. We knew we wanted to make fresh and easy meals for people, using local ingredients that supported family farms. My mom grew up on a farm and we have always believed that ingredients matter. We began by making meals one by one, to order, while continuing to work in other jobs. Once we realized how many people in our community needed a service like this, we took the plunge and went all in on Cassoulet! Today, though we have grown, we continue to use local ingredients whenever possible and every meal is made from scratch. We love knowing that people are able to keep an easy, homemade meal in the freezer for the nights when they don't have time or energy to cook.

Why do you love vending at the Sun Prairie Farmers Market? We love talking to people and sharing how our meals can make their life easier. We also LOVE shopping for ingredients for our meals with the other vendors at the market.

Since this is the 40th Anniversary of the Sun Prairie Farmers Market. Tell us what you were doing in 1986? In 1986 Alissa was a whole 4 years old and Nancy was working full time in banking and finance, raising Alissa and her brother Tim. Favorite 80s song-anything from Bon Jovi!
