Elevate Light is a Christian video production company. We desire to glorify and honor God and His Word in our work. Our goal is to tell our client’s story with in every video we produce. Elevate Light offers videos for churches, ministries, non-profit organizations, and businesses. We also offer video services for events such as weddings, birthdays, etc.

Just because Elevate Light has closed down, it doesn't mean I've put away my camera for good! I have been blessed for over a year now to volunteer at Saving Sumter's Strays and I'm so thankful that they allowed me to do this promo video!

The animals are amazing and the people who give of their time really care about these animals and getting them into loving forever homes. Elevate Light is officially closed for business. My website is no longer up but I will be keeping my YouTube channel, Instagram account and page up so that everyone can always go back and watch their videos. I may come on here from time to time to share some fun memories, bloopers or behind the scenes video and who knows maybe one day I will open the business back up, but for now I feel that this is the best move for me and I'm very excited about the opportunities God has blessed me with to learn and grow in a new career field working with animals, something that I have only dreamed about doing for years and now with my volunteering and internship, it is becoming a reality!

I just wanted to take this opportunity to once again say a big thank you to everyone who has supported my small business in one way or another throughout the years. It's been a great learning experience and a chance for me to grow my filmmaking skills. I was so blessed to work with some truly amazing people and would love to stay in touch! My first wedding job was in 2015 and throughout that time I have learned a lot about filmmaking, the wedding business, and working with different kinds of people with the common goal of making the couple’s wedding day as special and memorable as possible. Yesterday Colby and I had a great send off for this chapter in our lives in celebrating Casey and Anthony’s wedding. I would like to thank every couple that has ever trusted Elevate Light with your wedding. That’s not something I take lightly and I am very grateful for each of you. I hope that your wedding video is something that you will cherish for many years to come. A special thanks to the amazing photographers we have had the opportunity to work with. It truly is a team effort between photographers and videographers to fully capture the emotion and memories of a wedding day. Thank you to the fun and friendly DJs that have kept the energy up at the reception and have been so kind in working with us to help us capture the shots we need and letting us use our recorder on your microphone for toast speeches. You guys definitely make our job more fun! Thank you to everyone who has supported my business through sharing my videos and referring me. Word of mouth has a been a huge part of my business growing! Finally, thank you so much to everyone who has ever been an assistant/second shooter with me on weddings. Whether if you worked one wedding with me or twenty, I am very grateful to each of you for giving of your time on a Saturday, work the long hours, attend team training days and being willing to learn the skill of wedding filmmaking. You ladies are amazing!

I’m not sure what the future holds or if I will be back filming weddings again but I am grateful for the time I had, the memories made and the people I met. Thank you all so very much and may God bless you.

One thing that is great about being in the wedding industry is the great work relationships you gain that can turn into friendships along the way. Colby and I started working with back in 2021 and it has been such a pleasure. We always look forward to working with her and she has become a friend of mine. As Elevate Light weddings will be coming to a close for the foreseeable future in a few months, I can look back and say I am so thankful for the opportunities to meet and work with such amazing people.

I recently made the decision to follow a passion of mine in pursuing a career in the animal field. I have a passion and love for animals and for years I have dreamed about working in this field. Last September I began volunteering at our local animal shelter in Sumter and in November I began volunteering at Lynches River County Park. I have loved it and decided to take another step forward in adding education to the experience I am gaining. On March 31st I officially became a student with the Animal Behavior Institute in their Zoo & Aquarium Science program.

It’s been amazing and I love it but I am finding it really difficult to juggle school along with filming and editing weddings, working my other job during the week, keeping up with my volunteer commitments, and being the children & youth pastor at my church. After much prayer and thought, I have decided to step away from doing weddings. I’m not saying I won’t come back at some point but for right now at least, I believe this is what is best for me. I will be keeping my commitments to couples that have already booked me but will not be taking on any extra weddings. I will still be available for promotional videos for businesses, churches and other special projects.

Colby and I would like to thank all of the amazing couples, photographers, DJs and wedding coordinators we’ve had the opportunity to work with. We’ve met some very kind people who have been instrumental in helping get Elevate Light’s name out there and for that we are so very grateful. I also want to thank all of the people who have been second shooters/assistants for me throughout the last six years. You have no idea how much of a blessing you have been to me!

Again I can’t say it enough to EVERYONE who has supported my business in one way or another, thank you, thank you, THANK YOU! May God bless you and keep you and make His face shine upon you and give you peace. - Sarah

Elevate Light's office serves as a joint location with T&J Pro Beauty Supply which is a supply store for licensed barbers and cosmetologists in Sumter, SC. Set up an appointment for a meeting and come by to book your video shoot!
