To all of you who attended the Yacht Rock Night in the lounge last night, a thousand Thank You's! Y'all absolutely ROCK! You definitely brought the party and kept the dance floor hot all night long! I had an absolute blast playing your music. From the response I saw last night, I believe you enjoyed the inclusion of some different genres of music. I loved it! If you have any suggestions of "Theme Nights" that you think would be fun, please tell Jen, Richard, or any of our regular DJ's. We will be happy to try to make it happen. Thanks again, and ROCK ON!

REMINDER:
Friday night we will have our first ever YACHT ROCK NIGHT in the lounge at Elks Lodge 242, with yours truly spinning the tunes! It will also be pizza night, so come out, have some great pizza, and support the grill. I'll mix in some great Yacht Rock music among the great dance music we all love. Come out, decorate yourselves and your tables appropriately, and let's have some Yachting Fun on Friday night!

Good evening, friends! First of all, I want to encourage you to come out to the lodge on Friday, June 5 because our DJ will be Brother Richard Clayton! You know he always bring a party! That's a fun time to be had! Food will be available because the grill will be open. Then, on Friday, June 12, I will be playing the tunes and hosting a new theme night, "Yacht Rock Night." Along with many of your favorite dance tunes, I'll be mixing in some great Yacht Rock music from the mid 70's through the mid 80's. It will be a fun night of old favorites and some tunes you may not have heard in a while, but still great music. Also, feel free to come dressed in your yachting attire - you know, like classy shorts, tops, shirts, shoes, hats, sunglasses, etc., but no swimsuits, please. Feel free to bring table decorations and let's dress the place up! Rumor has it that there may be some drink specials to be had also. Additionally, the kitchen will be serving up pizza, so make plans to have dinner at the lodge. Get ready to have a "yachting good time" at Elks Lodge 242 on June 5. I'll post more info as we get closer to the day.

Good evening, all! Here's a little reminder that next Saturday night is Country Music Night at Lodge #242. I'll start the music at 7 PM and go until 10 PM, or maybe a little later if you're still game. Come on out for a Saturday night of good fun and great music. COUNTRY MUSIC NIGHT IS COMING BACK!

Happy Thursday, everyone! I want to let you know that on Saturday, May 9 I will spin out some really great Country Music for you at Charleston Elks Lodge #242. I'll light the musical fire at 7 PM and play until around 10 PM...or later, if you guys are still game! So, Cowboy and Cowgirl up, don your jeans and boots and hats, and mosey on down to the Lodge #242 dance hall for some really fine Country Music Night fun! At this time I don't know if there will be any food offerings, but I'll let you know if that comes to be. Remember, you can always bring your own food if you wish to do so. It's going to be a BIG Country Time, so plan to be there.

Good morning, everyone! I hope your Thursday has started out wonderfully and continues throughout this glorious day. FYI, tomorrow night, 4/17, I shall once again be your Master of Music at Charleston Elks Lodge #242. I'm really looking forward to being back on the Throne of Tunes again and I plan to make the most of the evening. You know what that means - I'm going to play great dance music all night long, from 7:30 - 11:30 PM. So, come on out, bring your dancing shoes, your requests, and your Friday Night Party frame of mind. We're Gonna' Party Till The Lights Go Out! Also, the Kitchen Crew is offering a Shrimp & Flounder dinner tomorrow night for $15, so you'll want to get there early...and plan to stay late!

Hey, y'all! After what seems like an eternity, I'll be back in the musical saddle tomorrow night, February 13, in the Ells Lodge 242 lounge from 7:30 - 11:30 PM. Come out and kick off Valentines Weekend with a great Friday night dance party! As always, I'll play all of your favorite music so you can s**g, line dance, waltz, and whatever else you desire. Be sure to come early so you can have dinner because the kitchen crew will have the Love Spud Bar open for $10 each. Get a huge baked potato and cover it with your favorite toppings. That's a DEAL! It will be a Fun Friday at Lodge 242, so make plans to be there. We're going to have a good time!

Happy Wednesday, my friends! I'm here this morning to let you know that DJ-T will be on the Magical Musical Throne this coming Friday night at Lodge #242! I have a great playlist of your favorite dance music tunes ready to go. Also, since the Christmas Season is upon us, I've included some Christmas tunes that will fit right in with the party music being delivered to you. Since there will be no dinner served this Friday night, feel free to bring snacks for your table (but no outside drinks, please). It's going to be another fun Friday night at Elks Lodge #242, so bring your dancing shoes, your requests, and a Christmas Party attitude! We'll party till the lights go out!
