Wondering why I haven’t posted recently?!?! I’ve been taken for ransom, pictures to prove it!

No seriously, I’ve just been busy and posting has gotten away from me. These photos?!?! Don’t worry about me! Nothing to see here. Just some “Harvested and Handcrafted” shenanigans

Did you know that every week farmers market vendors look at the weather, if it is rainy weather we question if the market is going to close or if we do go out, are the customers going to show up?

At the Summerville Farmers Market I never watch the weather because I don’t care if it rains. Regardless of the rain, we ARE open and you DO show up. So I don’t know what Mother Nature is bringing to the market tomorrow but here is what we are bringing:

Casseroles (small $16/ Large $32)
- Chicken Cordon Bleu
- Chicken and Shrimp Jambalaya
- Chicken Pot Pie
- Mexican Turkey and Street Corn
- BBQ Chicken over Sweet Potato with Goat Cheese
- BBQ Pulled Pork Mac n’ Cheese
- Chicken Bruschetta Risotto (Limited)
- Pork Carnitas Enchiladas
- Shepherds Pie

- Heirloom Tomato Pie (9 inch pie- $28)

I arrived to the Summerville Farmers Market at 6:30am and from then to 10:30am I didn’t stop! Pre-orders, recording for “Harvested and Handcrafted”, slicing tomatoes for tomato pies, and taking in person orders kept me running.
Out of all the soups, quiche, tomato pies and casseroles I had out there, I only brought home 33 soups. I was so busy that I just started throwing the end pieces of the tomatoes over my shoulder like it was salt. I made a big mess but I was surviving 😂 It was a fantastic day.

This kitchen was so hot today that I think I’m delirious… I am about to make soups in 100+ degree heat. Either I really love those customers who request it OR I am scared of y’all (probably a little bit of both)
Here is our menu for tomorrow:

Soups ($8 each)
- Jalapeño Popper Chicken
- Pasta Fagioli
- Tuscan Chicken
- French Onion Gnocchi
- Beef and Barley

Casseroles: ($16 each)
- Chicken Pot Pie
- Chicken Bruschetta Risotto
- BBQ Pulled Pork Mac
- Chicken Teriyaki with Rice and Veggies
- Chicken Bog
- Philly Cheesesteak Gnocchi
- Greek Chicken Orzo

Quiche ….. what?!?!? Quiche too????? You heard me!
$18 half/ $32 whole
- Quiche Lorraine (Onions, Bacon, Gruyere)
- Ham and Cheddar
- Spinach, Mushroom, Gouda

- Today till 3 (possibly later if it stays cool in here)
- Friday 11- definitely 3 (possibly later… stay updated on our page)
