Our menu at Mixson Kitchen this week includes the following soups and casseroles:

Soups $6
- Immmune Boosting Chicken
- Pasta e Fagioli
- Creamy Italian Sausage
- Chicken Marsala (1 left)

Casseroles: $16 smalls
- Lasagna
- Lemon Chicken Risotto with Grilled Asparagus
- Chicken Pot Pie
- Pork Carnitas Enchiladas
- Chicken and Shrimp Jambalaya
- Pork Hash with Brussels and Sweet Potatoes
- Bacon Ranch Chicken with Roasted Potatoes and Broccoli

Lots happening in the kitchen this week as we prepare for:

- Mixson Kitchen to be open Tuesday- Friday 11am-8pm
- Mount Pleasant Holiday Market on Saturday from 11am-4pm
- Mixson Mingle on Saturday from 10am-2pm (we won’t be there but our food will be in the freezers if you want to swing by. This is also the same time frame as the North Charleston parade so be prepared)

We will have our weekly menu for Mixson posted on Monday and our menu for Mount Pleasant posted on Friday. Our two hottest items this week always seem to be the Chicken Pot Pie and the Gingerbread Houses

I finally got it done! I have been soaking in the quietness of this week (first full week of no markets since April) and so I've been slacking big time but I finally got the Christmas Menu posted on our website www.culinary-creation.com
The order deadline is December 17th and pickup is December 23rd from 12pm-3pm at Mixson Kitchen.

Time for me to get back to work!!! Mount Pleasant Holiday Market is December 13th from 11-4. That will be our final market till April.

We hear you! You want a Christmas menu! We’re on it!

We know we are going to put quiche for Christmas morning on there and Gingerbread Houses are a must! We have taste tested our fruit cake and it has passed so that and the Chocolate Bourbon Pecan Pie are on there too.

Now let’s talk sides. Do we want some different options than Thanksgiving? Same as Thanksgiving? Combo? Throw all the thoughts and ideas at me!

Hey Guys!
I stated Saturday that I would post what is available at Mixson Kitchen for the week by Mondays but I am going to break my promise this week. I am so sorry if you were waiting patiently.
We had such a crazy busy week last week with Thanksgiving sides and pies, soups and casseroles for the market and Gingerbread houses that we took a much needed break Sunday and Monday so we don’t have anything to put in the Mixson Kitchen tomorrow.
I will jump back into the kitchen tomorrow and restock Mixson Kitchen by Wednesday. Thank you so much for your understanding.

(Pictured: My daughter’s theatre teacher gifted me a “Most likely to make fruitcake actually taste good” shirt for our “Best Christmas Pageant Ever” production coming in March. Of course I took it as a challenge and whipped up some fruit cake as a teachers Christmas gift this year… hopefully my shirt remains true after they eat it.)

You can find us at Mixson Kitchen throughout the winter. We will post our menu every Monday evening on Facebook for what will be available throughout that week.

Our last market for the year will be out at the Mount Pleasant farmers market on December 13th from 11-4 for their holiday market. Hope to see you there or at Mixson!

Thanksgiving is my favorite holiday. What is better than friends and family gathered around a table of food and spending the day being grateful for all that you have?!?!

When I dreamed of this business it looked like what I grew up working in, which was a corporate style hotel. Customers came and went on business or on vacations, never really forming bonds and friendships with the employees. When I woke up this morning the first thing on my mind was how grateful I am for all of you. I truly have the best customers who over the year(s) have become friends. As some of you pulled up into Mixson to get your Thanksgiving meals yesterday, I would say “Allison is here” or “Beth is here” before you even reached the front door. My personalized relationship with each of you touches my heart more than any amount of money could (and no that doesn’t mean the food is free now 😂)

If I could have all of you at my Thanksgiving table, I would! I hope that the food I provided is delicious and makes you feel like I am right there at the table, laughing and smiling with you and your family. Happy Thanksgiving!!!

(Since I don’t have a picture of me with all of you. I am choosing the other relationship that I am so eternally grateful for while creating this business. Two of my best vendor friends, we commiserate together, we celebrate together, we get one another. We are foodies!)

Thanksgiving 2025 is done for Culinary Creation. Right after we packed our last bag we hopped onto making Gingerbread houses. Tomorrow (yes, Thanksgiving Day) I’ll be switching gears and making as many soups and casseroles as humanly possible in 2 days.

Our Summerville Farmers Market is coming to an end this weekend as we celebrate Small Business Saturday with a “Holiday Market”

Hope to see you all out there and if I happen to have bags under my eyes and the things coming out of my mouth make no sense, just know that it’s been a busy week 😂 😂
