Today would’ve been Jacob Hayes’s 41st birthday.

To wrestling fans, he was “Mr. Magnificent” Jacob Hayes. To me, he was my brother and my best friend.

Jacob is the reason SHWA was created. I started Southern HomeTown Wrestling Asylum to honor him and keep his memory alive through something we both loved. I wish more than anything that he were here to see it.

Happy birthday, brother. I love you, I miss you, and I’ll keep carrying you with me.

When a scheduling conflict forced the cancellation of SHWA: BAD INTENTIONS, it appeared fans would have to wait even longer to see Reckless Roxxi Redd challenge SHWA Vixens Champion Diamond Roberts.

Thanks to 12 Gauge Pro Wrestling, they won’t have to wait!

The rivalry that began at SHWA: Red White & Bruised and erupted into chaos at 12 Gauge Pro Wrestling: Bad Medicine will finally be settled inside the ring at BRUTAL LOVE—with the SHWA Vixens Championship on the line!

🎥 A MESSAGE FROM THE BOSS

The Boss Matt Hayes has sent in a special video message thanking everyone for the birthday wishes. Every call, message, comment, and post meant more to him than you may ever know.

It’s been an emotional few days for The Boss, with “Mr. Magnificent” Jacob Hayes weighing heavily on his mind as Jacob’s birthday approaches next Thursday, September 17.

The Boss also teased a MAJOR ANNOUNCEMENT concerning something huge currently in the works for SHWA. If everything comes together in time, he’s hoping to share more this Saturday at SHWA: BAD INTENTIONS. If not, he hopes to have an announcement ready by the end of next week.

Either way, something big may be on the horizon for SHWA—so stay tuned!
