🚨 OFFICIAL SHWA UPDATE FROM "THE BOSS" MATT HAYES 🚨

Twelve days after SHWA: Red White & Bruised, SHWA President & CEO "The Boss" Matt Hayes has released a major update addressing several important issues surrounding the future of Southern HomeTown Wrestling Asylum.

Earlier this week, Hayes called a meeting of the SHWA Board of Directors to discuss disciplinary action against Gordy Chandler and The Outlaw Society for their involvement in the SHWA Heavyweight Championship Match. During that contest, Dakota Outlaw II distracted the referee while Gordy Chandler stormed the ring and delivered a devastating powerslam to Major Havoc, directly impacting the outcome of the match.

As a result, Hayes called for a board vote to strip the SHWA Tag Team Champions of their championships. That motion was denied.

However, there is one decision that does not require board approval... and one that not even SHWA General Manager Frenchy Riviera can overturn.

Effective immediately, Gordy Chandler has been SUSPENDED from in-ring competition at SHWA: BAD INTENTIONS on September 12th.

Matt Hayes also addressed the recent controversy involving a recently released star and SHWA leadership. Following Hayes' decision, former booking manager Michael Flames publicly voiced his frustrations.

While The Boss has the final say in all aspects of SHWA, the decision stemmed from what Hayes described as a veteran's refusal to put over younger talent based solely on the belief that they "hadn't earned it."

Hayes also addressed comments made by our former partners at Appalachian Outlaw Wrestling in Blue Ridge, Georgia. According to Hayes, AOW publicly took sides without first reaching out to SHWA leadership to hear both sides of the situation.

Effective immediately, Southern HomeTown Wrestling Asylum is no longer affiliated with Appalachian Outlaw Wrestling.

Despite the split, Hayes wished AOW nothing but success in the future.
