June 6-14 is recognized as National Boating & Fishing Week!​ 🎣

This week isn’t just a time to celebrate the fun of being on the water, but also to recognize the shared responsibility of caring for our waterways. You can celebrate by getting out on a boat, taking a first-time angler out fishing, joining a litter cleanup or just relaxing by the water. ​

This is an exciting week for Santee Cooper Outdoors!

Thirty Youth Anglers, from South Carolina and Georgia, will be attending our first (ever) “Fish School” in Summerton, SC. Boys and girls, ranging in ages 6 to 15, are coming from 10 different area codes and 18 different schools (or homeschool programs) just to fish with us.

We can’t wait to meet everyone. It is our hope and prayer that every kid will learn, make new friends, and have a safe and wonderful time fishing. Please be in prayer for us this week. Pray for good weather, safety, and tight lines!
