Life update…….

08/17/2026

I think we tell our stories too late.

We wait until we can say:

I took the risk and it worked.
I changed careers and found the thing.
I started over and built something better.
I went through the hard thing and came out stronger.

But what about when you’re still in it?

No lesson yet.
No pretty ending.
No idea if the decisions you’re making are even the right ones.

That’s where I am.

My health. My business. The Listening-Table. What work looks like next. A lot of my life feels like one giant cliffhanger right now.

So I’m going to stop waiting for the ending and start sharing a little more of the middle.

And I have a feeling I’m not the only one here.

What are you in the middle of right now that you don’t know the ending to yet?

08/05/2026

I’ve been thinking about something.

I know so many people right now who are in the middle of a career pivot. Some are looking for work. Some are hiring. Some are trying to land their first client.

And honestly... I don’t think a resume tells the whole story.
So I want to try something.

I’m calling it Skip the Resume!!!

Instead of posting your title or your resume, tell us who you are.

If you’re looking for an opportunity, tell us what you’re really great at and what kind of work you’re looking for.

If you’re hiring, tell us who you’re hoping to find and why that role matters.

Keep it to just two or three sentences.

I’ll be reading every comment, making introductions where I can, and hopefully this community will do the same.

Sending resume really isn’t move the need for people.

Let’s connect the right people! What are you looking for right now?

Life has a way of making everything feel really clear.

A few weeks ago, I found myself navigating one of the hardest seasons of my life while also rebuilding my business from the ground up.

For a moment, I wondered if I should stop chasing this new chapter and go back to what felt safe.

Instead, it reminded me why I’m building it in the first place.
None of us know how much time we get.

That makes me want to spend mine creating work that feels meaningful, building deeper relationships, and saying yes to the things that make me feel most alive.

If this season has taught me anything, it’s that waiting for the “perfect time” is a risk too.

Has life ever changed your perspective on what was really worth chasing?

Pretty sure someone gave me the wrong bingo card for 2026. Here’s to story time.

For years, I knew exactly how to grow my business.

I sent cold emails.

Some were ignored. Some turned into clients. A few turned into relationships that completely changed my life.

One of those emails even introduced me to one of my best friends.

So this isn’t me saying cold outreach never works.

It’s me saying I think we’re entering a different era.

Every inbox is flooded.
AI can write a decent email in seconds.
Everyone is trying to automate relationship building.

Ironically, I think that’s making real human connection more valuable than ever.

That’s a big part of why I’m spending so much of my time building communities and creating experiences where people can actually meet, talk, and build trust face-to-face.

Technology isn’t going away.

But neither are relationships.

How are you building new business in a world where everyone’s inbox is full?

Corporate will lose its workforce if it keeps forgetting people are human.

Humans are not numbers on a spreadsheet.

I think corporate companies are going to have to put the human back into work if they want people to stay.

People are exhausted from layoffs, restructures, AI-filtered applications, and feeling replaceable after years of loyalty.

At some point, people stop asking, “How do I climb the ladder?” and start asking, “Do I even want to build my life around this anymore?”

The companies that win next will not just offer better perks.

They will create real connection, real trust, and real reasons for people to care again. Create community not toxic environments.

What do you think companies need to change if they want people to stay?

07/12/2026

I am not having a midlife crisis.

I am just finally being honest about what I want my life to look like.

For a long time, I thought success meant working harder, being useful, saying yes, and making everything around me work.
Now I am asking different questions.

What do I actually want?
What still fits?
What am I only holding onto because I have already invested so much time in it?
And what would happen if I trusted myself enough to choose differently?

I do not have the next chapter completely figured out, but I know I am not the only woman in her 40s feeling this pull.

If you are feeling it too, follow along. Maybe we can help each other figure out what comes next.

Just because you are having dinner with your friends does not mean everyone is fully present.

Be the person who creates space for real connection. Ask better questions. Put the phones away. Invite someone new to the table every now and then so the group keeps growing, evolving, and staying fresh.

Send this to the friend who can actually make it happen.

07/09/2026

I would love to tell you I had the whole next chapter mapped out before I started changing everything.

I did not.

I just knew the version I was in was no longer working.

Was leaving comfortable? Not even a little bit.

But staying has a cost too.

So I am figuring out the next version as I build it.

Are you team “have it all secured first” or team “leave and figure it out”?
