A little update + O/G’s first GIVEAWAY

Orphic Glades has been getting a bit of a glow-up lately - new logo, updated website, and a very AI-generated giveaway merch photo that looks slightly less like I laid a bunch of hoodies on the floor and hoped for the best (except the photo with me is my yard, gotta give props to a gorgeous backdrop).

Next up for the property: foundations for the greenhouse and grain bins, prepping the Sand Sanctuary, bringing in power, drilling the well, installing septic…and finding out just how many creative/questionable ideas I can have involving shipping containers.

Once the infrastructure is in, the grow towers start arriving. They’ll be used for crops that complement what’s already being grown around us, while also becoming part of the experience here: pick a living favor on your way out of a reception, snip fresh herbs for a tea-making workshop, or harvest something straight from the tower to use on the spot.

The bigger picture for Orphic Glades is pretty simple: healthy food, movement, positivity, getting outside, and building a place that's a little 'outside the ordinary' (aka the definition of Orphic).

And since we've finally got some new swag up, it seems like a good excuse to give some away.

New Name Update!

What's in a name? I knew exactly what I wanted the farm to feel like: lush, a little mysterious, hidden away from the noise. The kind of place that feels like you've stumbled upon something special.

What I didn't have was a name that captured it. After countless ideas, one finally surfaced that captures the unique atmosphere that's being built.

Orphic Glades.
Orphic: associated with mystery, enchantment, beauty, and experiences that feel beyond ordinary understanding. Not because they're impossible to explain, but because they're better experienced than described.

Glade: a clearing within the woods - a place where the trees open up, light filters through, and the atmosphere shifts.

A hidden clearing surrounded by nature. A place that invites curiosity. A place where greenery climbs the walls, grain bins become gathering spaces, celebrations happen under the stars, and everyday life slows down for a while. A place designed to feel immersive, intentional, and just a little magical.

The farm may still be growing and being built, but it finally has a name that feels like home.
Welcome to Orphic Glades. 🌿✨
