After all, we grew up here and decided to raise our family here too. So, when we saw a chance to renovate a historic home in town, we knew it’d be the perfect opportunity to turn it into a B & B. When you stay with us, you’ll be able to relax in a comfortable room that's thoughtfully furnished with local decor and an en-suite bathroom. You’ll also wake up to a freshly cooked breakfast and what we

While dropping off child #2 at college we took an extra day to explore the Mad River Valley of Vermont. Such a cool area and we would highly recommend going back. Summer or winter the area is ripe with wonderful activities for the whole family. We found a wonderful bed and breakfast to stay at and even popped over to a local flatbread festival. The hike we ventured on was fantastic, but remember to bring snacks. We did stop over at Niagara Falls on the way so one image is from there. Be sure to explore the world where you live.

We have a special treat this year to share with our guests. Fresh made grape jelly to take home with you. Our grapes produced so much fruit this year that we wanted to share with our guests and not just the birds. While supplies last everyone will go home with some homemade jelly.

It’s always fun to try a new local spot. One of the boys and I popped in to try some frozen yogurt at the turtle frozen yogurt. Located right behind Pioneer Cafe, this little gem is a great stop for a fresh and cool summer treat. A lovely shaded play area and fun games will keep you busy when you stop by.

While visiting Mineral Wells a few weeks ago I made a stop in to the local brewery, Rickhouse Brewing. I had a fantastic flight of beers, and chatted with the brewmaster about the space and where some of the beers names originated. It’s great to catch a little local flavor when traveling.
