Black River MatBackers The Mat Backers is a nonprofit organization.

Its purpose is to support the Black River Local Schools Wrestling Program and facilities by providing available funds and social support. Let’s pack the place and show these wrestlers how proud Pirate Nation is of them before they head to Columbus! 💪🤼‍♂️

Come out, bring the energy, and help give them the send-off they deserve!

🏴‍☠️ Pirate Results from Keystone! 🏴‍☠️
A few of our Black River High School wrestlers headed over to Keystone today and came home with some big finishes. Way to represent, Pirates! 💪🤼‍♂️

🥉 Hailey Grant – 3rd place (106 lbs)
🥈 Kohl Henry – 2nd place (113 lbs)
🥇 Lincoln Szjoka – 1st place (126 lbs)
🥇 Samuel Dilley – 1st place (157 lbs)
🥇 Jack VanCooney – 1st place (190 lbs)
🏅 Grazio Mitchell – 4th place (215 lbs)

👏 Shout out to Mason Koberna, who also picked up some coaching experience on the day with Coach Kyle Jenkin!

Shout out to Maddox Mitchell of Black River High School! Wrestling at 132 lbs, Maddox battled his way to a 6th-place finish at the prestigious 63rd J.C. Gorman today at Mansfield Senior High School.
Competing on that stage is no small feat—great work, Maddox! 💪🤼‍♂️
